2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Transfers data.

Cons: Not as pictured. The 90 degree end on the cable i received had no metal latch and was upside down. So either I flip the hard drive upside down so the cable hangs downward, or I just let the cable go upwards. This defeats the purpose of purchasing a cable with a 90 degree angle. All the other colored cables I've purchased of this Xion brand were perfectly fine, except for this one.

Other Thoughts: Ridiculous.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cables

Pros: - 90 degree connector is lower profile than some of the other ones I've seen, making it great to use the drive bays that point toward the side of my case.
- Metal clips help out with the accidental bumps during builds.
- Normal SATA connector on the other end does not interfere with most motherboard connections.

Cons: - None, they're cables.

Other Thoughts: I've got a Dell Precision 380 that these work great in. The metal clips do not have any issues with the onboard headers, contrary to what others have stated about other cables. I can now use all the drive bays in my case as well, which is a definite plus. The 18" make them ideal for this case, as they are just a little longer than they need to be, and allow for some basic routing.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes What It's Suppose To Do

Pros: You get what you pay for.
Metal latches lock them in.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a cable, it works

Pros: It's long enough to reach across the largest cases. The metal latches hold the cable securely. It's fairly thick and not easily folded and creased (which can lead to breakage in all but the thinnest conductors).

Cons: Thickness of insulator and length of cable may make it more difficult to route around obstacles if you have a small case.

Not a product con, more of a Newegg or UPS issue: shipping on these things will kill you if you don't order anything else.

Other Thoughts: Be sure you need 1 end of your cable with a 90 degree angle. 1 angled end is great for drives facing the side of your case (see a gigabyte Aurora for an example) but terrible for people who have all their hard-drive slots filled.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Cables

Pros: They carry the data and connect firmly.

Cons: Some connecters do not like these cables. Like all 4 on my Mobo. So I have 4 spare cables now.

5 out of 5 eggsNice solid cable

Pros: Nice solid connector that won't leave you second guessing if its gonna fall off from the fan blowing it off. Too many of the OEM red cables fail by flexing outwards in the middle and result in exessive errors, making Windows revert to PIO mode or even not recognize the drive anymore. I dont expect this one to have that problem.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I don't know if it was the new 1tb wd hdd or the cables being changed, but I had to jumper both my sata hdds down to 150 spec to get windows to see both the wd and a seagate 160 now. There is no loss of speed like this, and is most likely to blame on this old motherboard (which only supports SATA I). So if you can't get your drives to recognize, try that.

5 out of 5 eggsBest SATA cable out there

Pros: Clicks in place and stays in place. It is the only cable that I have seein doing this. Other cables can be unplugged even if they "click on".
It works continuously. I have seen too many cables working interminently, and not at all after a while.

Cons: I would say none; unless you think being too thick is a con.

Other Thoughts: Wish they made SATA/power combo cables this reliable.
And I would love to see this cable in different lenghts of 1" increments (16", 17", 18", 19", etc.).

5 out of 5 eggsSolid cable

Pros: Solid cable. Does what it should. Seemed stiff compared to the other cables I used, but were no less flexible. Clips are a definite plus.

Cons: Could someone tell my boss I'd like a raise? Oh... wait... you mean Cons about the cable. Right. Got it.

Other Thoughts: No cons. Just a nice cable.
