5 out of 5 eggsWorks with iPad 3

Pros: Worked perfectly as intended for a great cheap solution to the very short iPad charging cable by extending it 6 feet. Note the iPad 3 only charges off high power usb's or the wall plug in.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGood Cables!

Pros: Thick cable, makes it nice and sturdy.
The female end grips nicely. Both plugs seem to be quite stiff (not flexible and loose like some cheap USB cables).
I've been using two of these every day with no issues.

Cons: No Cons!

Other Thoughts: Great Cable for the price!

4 out of 5 eggsLoose Connection

Pros: Inexpensive and they work

Cons: The connection isn't very tight so the connected USB device will often disconnect if the cord is bumped.

This is because the female socket is made using thin, malleable metal that can't keep proper pressure on the male USB connector.
In fact, the socket tends to become a bit looser each time a device is plugged in or unplugged.

The good news is that, because the metal is so malleable, you can just squeeze the female socket with your fingers to make it tight again.

Other Thoughts: They're worth buying if the price is still low.
Just be prepared to deal with loose sockets, especially if you fairly frequently plug and unplug devices.

5 out of 5 eggscheap price, does what i wanted

Pros: i bought this extension cable mainly for one reason: to extend my iPhone's cable so that i could charge/use it at the same time (pretty impossible, or at least cumbersome with their provided cable).

since nobody else had mentioned charging devices in their reviews of this, i was kind of unsure -- esp since i had read some reviews on similar cables that said their devices *would not* charge over those cables. i thought it was part of the USB 2.0 spec to carry enough power for charging, but i was not positive; for a few dollars, though, it was worth a try.

got it, and thankfully my question is answered, and for the rest of you wondering: YES, using your normal iPod/iPhone cable + this extension cable, it will charge and/or sync your device with no problems. woo hoo!

the quality of the cable seems sturdy. cord is well shielded, and is thicker than the cables provided with most devices. just glancing at them, it's thicker/sturdier than my phone's cable!

Cons: "white" is a bit of a misnomer; i would call this cable "off white" or "light grey". really is an irrelavant/picky point, but i'm OCD like that.

other than that nitpick, i really cannot find any flaws or cons for this cable.

Other Thoughts: in summary -- as mentioned, it's well built, it maintains all the functionality of any standard high-speed USB 2.0 cable, and it did exactly what i wanted with no hitch.

i can highly recommend this cable.

i can now have my iPhone plugged into my wall charger, and have plenty of slack cord to continue to use it when my battery runs out (every few hours, grr), so this will really be a useful item for me! all for just a few bucks!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cable

Pros: Fast shipping, great cable for extending a wireless USB dongle I purchased. Save plugging it in and out on the front or back of my computer.

Cons: No con here.

Other Thoughts: No matter where you go, there you are.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal!

Pros: Exactly as described.
Works great.
Great price!

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: I purchased these extensions primarily so that I wouldn't wear out the ports on my computer.

TIP: If you purchase too many in a single order, you may exceed the weight limit for Egg Saver Shipping.
If you're planning to buy a lot of cables, you might be better off placing multiple orders.
Just add the cables to your cart one at a time and watch the shipping cost as you do so.
