5 out of 5 eggsLAN PARTY ROOM

Pros: This is by far the best deal for wiring in-wall gigabit. Cable pulled easily for me, only a few times did the box snag, did not 'recoil' on me.

Cons: Not much of a con, but this cable is thicker than typical cat5e, plan accordingly. Like other people mentioned, this cable has a 'core' inside that seperates the pairs. Might be too thick for some RJ-45 connectors, but the three different supplies i had available seem to work fine.

Other Thoughts: Use propper wiring guidelines when running around powerlines. Typically i have never run into issues with crosstalk. Plan on using CAT6 type punchdowns/keystones/patch panels, to round out your network.

5 out of 5 eggsFast

Pros: Wired My House up with this. Works great. Getting appropriate speeds. Fished from basement to 3rd story with no problems. The rest of this box could probably wire up another house or 2... Will save for future projects...

Cons: ... nothing really... If you've ever dealt with boxes of cable before, you know what to expect. If you haven't dealt with boxes of cable before, then HOLD ON TO THE BOX SIDE OF THE CABLE when making a cut. It will pull back in to the box otherwise.

Other Thoughts: Brick & Mortar stores around here wanted $90 for half this length. or $140 for this length, but in Cat-5e...

NOTE: this is solid cable. This is for connecting to jacks, not for making patch cables... Use stranded cable for that...

5 out of 5 eggsI like it!

Pros: Very useful so far in our business environment. I did some wiring with several different connectors I had laying around and they fit just perfectly (not tight). The cable is also thinner and more manageable than most CAT6 cables I have worked with before.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsCat-6

Pros: Read other thoughts.

Cons: Read other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: Not sure if the other reviewer has ever ran Cat-6 before this purchase or not, but all Cat-6 cables will have a "bone" running through to separate the 4 pairs inside of the cable. Also be sure to buy Cat-6 RJ-45 rated connectors to avoid tight connections on the cables end. Just thought I'd clear this issue up.

3 out of 5 eggsOdd thing to find

Pros: Seems sturdy

Cons: Not really a con, see below

Other Thoughts: Be aware that this cable has a plastic core running through it which makes crimping ends on a bit cumbersome. Not as much of an issue going to a jack or patch panel, but it's still something to be aware of
