Pros: Easy & fast way to connect an older PATA hard drive to a system that only has SATA power connectors.

Cons: The SATA connector can come off too easily.

Other Thoughts: Retaining clips would make this item perfect.

Pros: Works like a pro I needed a 4 -pin molex to change to a 6 pin for my new Crossfire set up. I needed 4 qty 6 pins to do it. Well my power supply came with only two So my left over cord needed to be changed.

Cons: Nothing to complain about is alittle expensive not bad

Pros: It works. (not really rocket science though)
Next cheapest I found was ~$15+

Cons: It doesn't have a Hemi

Other Thoughts: To the reviewer below.... I have a strong suspicion that you never bothered to read the description or even look at the pictures, as this is CLEARLY for converting a Sata TO IDE, NOT IDE to Sata. This is meant for power supplies that have only Sata connectors, but you need to convert one of those connectors to a few IDE ones. The IDE ones will then plug directly into IDE Hard drives, CD roms, etc.

I just have a pet peeve about so many people on Newegg giving bad reviews of a product when they actually just bought the wrong item.

Pros: Seems well made.

Cons: No male connector

Other Thoughts: Wrong one for me. I am adapting a SATA hard drive to an IDE cable. Just a note to warn you that all the plugs on this adapter are female. If you are expecting a male connector so that you can plug into a female connector on the IDE cable from your power supply, you will be disappointed.
