BYTECC HM102 YPbPr to HDMI® Converter

Pros: Outstanding. Working with an old X-Box to my HD TV over 1 & 1/2 years.

Cons: When I got it the price was very high.

Other Thoughts: I like fresh cracked pepper on my strawberry's while watching my TV with this item.

Pros: It worked great ... for a while.

Cons: It doesn't work anymore. Used to convert DVD component output and audio to HDMI input to new HDTV. Watched a few movies (looked very good). Tried a new DVD, the menu and audio played OK but totally shut down (no signal detected, little blue light on the converter went out) when DVD started. Menu & audio still played fine. Used output from DVD player directly into TV and watched the movie. Too late to return to Newegg. I have initiated contact with Bytecc and am now dreading a prolonged and probably fruitless RMA process.

Pros: looks cool

Cons: i have tried it over and over i bought two of these can't get either one to pick up anything

Pros: Worked OK for about 30 - 40 days (after returning initial unit)

Cons: Purchased this item to use w/ an older generation Xbox360 on an HDMI only TV. Initial one shipped from New Egg and after hooking it up the Sound (audio) did not work at all. After RMA I received another unit. This one worked fine for about 40 days or so, and then out of the blue the audio stopped working. This product is a piece of garbage. Don't waste your money or time on it.

Pros: Worked great for 3 days

Cons: Broke within one week of owning it . i turned my xbox and monitor on and nothing happened. i went down under my desk and the little led blue light was off i unplugged it and plugged it back in and it flashed for half a second aned went off i unplugged it for an hour or so tried it agian and same thing dont waste your money on this go with something more high end

Cons: wish it was slimmer designed

Pros: Parts arrived intact and quickly.

Cons: The first one I ordered the power LED would go on but never the signal. Tried two different TVs and a switch box for the output. Tried 2 different inputs as well. RMAed. Second unit I received, though called the same part, did not look the same. Had only 1 LED which lit up but still failed to output a signal. Trying to RMA second unit for replace or refund but can't since original purchase date was >30 days due to first failed part setting the date.

Other Thoughts: Would love it to work. First RMA was easy. Looks like I am going to have to fight for the second.

Pros: This things works. Hooked my Xbox 360 into my Asus Computer Monitor.

Cons: NONE.

Other Thoughts: Have to go through DVI port with HDMI to DVI converter piece because the format of this would not go through monitors HDMI

Pros: does exactly what it says, works perfect with my hauppage hd pvr for recording gameplay

Cons: i notice a little bit of lag when playing multiplayer fps games but not enough to make it unplayable. a lil bit pricey, needs its own power source

Other Thoughts: works very well for converting component cable output to hdmi output, so if thats your need, then get this

Pros: works great with a Hauppauge HD PVR
I don't see any quality degradation.
clear, crisp, clean.
no noticeable lag.

Cons: I wish the light would turn off when not in use.
I wish the in and out where on the back side.
