4 out of 5 eggsThis is a great product!

Pros: It does, what it is designed for, nothing less, nothing more. I can't possibly imagine the previous reviewer trying to connect a SLR to this device, when in reality this is an amplified "pass-through" device. What did he expect, to cook breakfast for him and serve it in his bed? This is supposed to switch back and forth between devices, such a gaming consoles and PCs/Apple computers.

Cons: The only downside is that I wish it could decode DTS digital, and not just Dolby Digital, but for $30, what do I expect?!

Other Thoughts: Overall I am very impressed with it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for me

Pros: Works as advertised. Used it successfully solely with the input auto-detect for a while, recently programmed my Harmony universal remote to explicitly - remove has explicit "Input1","Input2" buttons - better than only "Next/Previous Input" some other ones have.

Cons: The LED's are significantly too bright. I put a strip of black electrical tape over them, still can see them through the tape (in a dark room or if I come close).

2 out of 5 eggsUnsatisfied Consumer

Pros: Easy Set-up
Remote
5 port switch with 1 quick port in front

Cons: Stops working all the time and displays "Not Support" on TV Screen. No place to find technical support from manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: I just bought this unit on Saturday, 1/25/2014. The first day it worked great. Day 2, I started getting a message on my TV that reads, "Not Support". I can unplug the unit and plug it back in and this usually fixes the issue but that will not work. I also have not been able to find a manufacturers website to get help with this issue. I may have just got a bad unit but I don't recommend this unit to anyone.

4 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: It works well most of the time.

Cons: Sometimes signal blinks in/out when connected to my Mac. Also, when lights on the same circuit are turned on/off the picture/audio drop for a moment.

1 out of 5 eggsNot working as it suppose to

Pros: Small, slick,

Cons: No auto detect, generic no brand labeled,

Other Thoughts: I wanted to plug my Canon SLR Camera via HDMI to single TV HDMI it does not work. It connected but no picture, when it has picture it really off 720p vs 1080p. Had another switch by different brand works great no prob with either resolution. Has no auto detect, must manually switch or by remote. Guess get for what you paid for, cheap does not usually work.

5 out of 5 eggsworks great for me

Pros: I bought this because I needed more inputs than my old 3-way switch provided. It works great with my Dish 622, Shaw Direct 630, Panasonic BDT-210, Roku, and HP laptop. At first I thought it was odd that they have an input on the front of the switch. I figured it was just for space savings. As it turns out, it's very convenient for pluggin/unplugging my laptop computer.

Cons: The blue LEDs are a bit bright, as the other reviewer mentioned.

Other Thoughts: I don't know what brand of satellite the other reviewer has, that had interference from this switch. I have a Dish Network 622, and have no problems with it.

3 out of 5 eggsConflicted

Pros: The switch is great. It auto-detects signals. I don't need to use the remote if you shut off the other sources and only have on the source you are using it will find it.

Cons: Minor: LED's are very bright if watching TV in a dark room. Fortunately the auto detect allows the unit to be hidden and avoid the lights.

Major: When it is in use (It is on, and TV is on, so it is passing a signal) it interferes with the UHF signal my satellite remote uses.

Other Thoughts: I am disappointed, but I like the product enough that I will try to find a way to block whatever this is putting out that is blocking my other signals.

1 out of 5 eggsWish it worked

Pros: Nice size

Cons: It doesn't work. Just hooked everything up and it will not process/send signals to the TV. It knows when a device plugs in, it just doesn't do anything after that.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to use this switch instead of running two more 25 ft HDMI cables through my wall. I have an LG Plasma TV. I was using the switcher to control my Digital TV cable box, XBOX 360, and Sony Blu-Ray player. Again, it just doesn't work. Maybe a different brand will.
