No need to use the driver disk. Network connection status shows 1.0 Gb/sec. Relatively cheap way to upgrade a LAN connection if other network devices like router, switch, and modem support Gigabit speeds. Cons: None. Bobby 10/7/2011 10:04:13 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 1/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 1/5Junk! Did not work Pros: Indicator lights. It's corded to allow access to other USB ports. Cons: Does not work as a plug and play device. Other Thoughts: Failed to install on two Windows 7 systems. My MacBook Air recognized it even though the packaging said it wouldn't. Unfortunately, it kept giving me a random IP with DHCP. I tried to manually enter a address and it failed to connect. I even changed the addressing scheme on my routers (Linksys and Belkin). Three failed attempts on one device. Attempting to get a refund now with newegg.com, Hopefully they pull it from the product line. Did you find this review helpful? Pros: Look greated 1000Mbps ( actualy 000 did not work at all ) Cons: DID not WORK!!! tried on 2 computer, on vista one windows 7 neither could find the driver to install - cannot find a drive in the box or at the site, waste of time, supposed to be plu it in and go, but no. Now my wife is really upset, my first bad experience with Newegg, but really I guess it is Bytecc fault. Needed for a computer that was not working, still have that problem plus must return....:( Other Thoughts: frustrating, is it bad or just made bad. 0 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
