Cons: PNY brand I thought would be better than a generic adapter, guess I was wrong.
I used it last night was the first time I used it, even taking it out of the packaging, to watch about 5 TV episodes from my laptop with out any problems.

Today about 35 minuets in to a show it just gave out, I tested it with multiple different HDMI cables, two different laptops, and checked my settings to make sure no software messed up the output.

If I held it just right I'd get a signal but the picture was showing only the reds and it had some screen refresh static. To RMA it would cost me almost $10 in shipping which was a little less then what I paid for it.

I must have just got a bad one since the reviews are mostly good here only complain about the audio having issues which should have been a sign the connection for the cable isn't that good. I'll probably open it up and solder the joints instead of spending double.

Pros: Great design, feels solid and well manufactured. Sleek and small. Works perfectly and most importantly of all CARRIES AUDIO. Best one of these around for the price.

Pros: It looks neat.

Cons: It didn't seem to work well with my macbook air. I tried other adapters and cords and they all worked great. This one was the only one with issues. Maybe I just got a bad one, but all the same, it didn't work.

Pros: worked out of the package. transfers the hd picture quality of the mac onto my hdtv. sound worked just fine. the cable is sturdy and has the quality I expect from PNY.

Other Thoughts: Don't cheap out on yourself, this is worth the price. Also get a long hmdi cable so you don't have to leave your laptop on the floor. If the sound doesn't transfer from your mac to the tv you need to change the settings on the laptop [applications > system settings > sound, then select your tv as the output source]. the sound will return to the laptop speakers automatically when you disconnect it, and automatically return to the tv when you plug it in.

Pros: Not bulky, goes well with Mac hardware, displays video fine

Cons: Does not allow digital audio to pass through it. No matter now high the quality of the HDMI cable.

Pros: Works perfectly to get audio and video from my Mid 2012 13 inch MacBook Air Thunderbolt port to HDMI TV.
