Black USB 3.0 A Male to Micro B Male Cable Pros: longer than original cable the came with HDD works great on computers both pc and laptop Cons: doesn't work on the USB port on my TV but the original Other Thoughts: Works perfectly on my computers both PC and laptops, however when I plug it into the TV it doesn't recognize the HDD so I have to continue to use the short cable that actually came with the HDD, that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 eggs Did you find this review helpful? Black USB 3.0 A Male to Micro B Male Cable Pros: Nice high speed 6 foot cord. What else can I say. Cons: The micro b end is a bit long (it's probably a standard length) and doesn't connect flushly to my external WD 2tb external HDD Other Thoughts: I got a WD external for my backups but the cord it came with is a bit short (it's like a one foot cord). I have no usb headers on the front of my PC so, I ordered this cord from NewEgg hoping that it would allow me a bit better drive placement. Sure technically it works but it seems as though I cannot plug it in all the way and I feel that over time I would end up breaking the female plug on the drive trying to force it in all the way. I ended up getting a usb extension cord instead which wound up being a better solution because I can use it for other things. Black USB 3.0 A Male to Micro B Male Cable Pros: The cable is what is described. Cons: Haven't used it, so none. Other Thoughts: The USB 3.0 Micro B connector is different than a USB 2.0 Micro B (very annoying). So this cable will NOT charge your smart phone or other small portable device like I wanted to use it for. Quick service and NewEgg was going to take it back but it's not worth the shipping to return it. I'm deducting 1 egg for the lack of a photo or something in the description to warn me about the change in connector shape. 0 out of 5 people found this review helpful. Did you?
