Pros: Works out of the box, nice cheap price.

Cons: Not quite sure if it's just my monitor, but it when i turn my monitor on it takes about a second longer than my other monitors to show anything, but not a big deal at all.

Other Thoughts: I've had this for about a year, haven't had any big problems with it.

Pros: Worked new out of the box for 6 months

Cons: Just died today. As others have written ny HD 5870 Eyefinity sees three monitors but the monitor using this adapter is blank. The monitor is getting a signal but it's blank. Getting this to work again is FAIL. Quality is suspect. Very disappointed.

Other Thoughts: Getting Eyefinity to work for the HD 5870 Displayport out connection has been my biggest frustration. This is my 3rd adapter that has stopped working. Note: the other two were other brands.

Pros: Just got it not too long ago and works right out of the box no issues whatsoever after installing.

Pros: even do is not an active dp adapter it worked like a champ with eyefinity setup, dp port recognized de vga conn pretty good, not a single problem to set up.

Cons: it only worked for about 6 months til it died on my last night, even do monitor still recognize as part of a 3 monitor setup (extended workspace) the signal is not going trought.

Other Thoughts: we get what u pay for !

Pros: Worked just fine out of the box.

Cons: One night the second monitor blipped off, never came back. The video card and Win7 both detect the other monitor, and I can get a signal if I swap to the DVI>VGA adapter, but off the DP, nothing.

Other Thoughts: This is what I get for cheaping out. Already threw away all the packaging, no RMA for me.

Cons: The product doesn't work correctly. I ordered 2 for a couple of laptop docks here at my corporation with monitors that didn't have a DVI input. Since I have installed them, i have seen video flickering, crazy artifacts in the video, among other display problems. I have installed all of the latest drivers, tried them on different laptops, tried different ports on the same laptop itself - all to no avail.

Other Thoughts: Unfotunately, to add to this problem, If you do not have the original packaging you must call the manufacturer (this is understandable) BUT the manufacturer DOES NOT answer the phone. I have contacted Newegg to assist here - and I am sure it will take 6 months before I see a couple bucks in my pocket

I have been in IT for all of my life, and every once in a while I come across a product like this - steer clear of this one.

Pros: Solid Construction

Cons: Fuzzy display when running eyefinity. Major difference between the monitor running vga -> DP than the DVI connections. Text is very difficult to read and picture is off color and lines can be seen throughout

Other Thoughts: 3 identical monitors, 6850 running eyefinity

Pros: Great adapter if your looking for this video cable conversion.

Other Thoughts: Its not an active display port, and wont work for eyefinity setups, i found out.

Pros: Using this to hook up a third 25" monitor to my HD6950.

Cons: When reading text from an email or a word document, I notice a sort of minor distortion as if the pixels are all excited and bouncing around. Not really sure how to describe it, but it makes for a slightly not so clear image.

Other Thoughts: My sole purpose of this adapter was to get eyefinity set up with some of my games across my three monitors. As such, I've only ever noticed it while checking auction houses in certain MMOs...where I'm staring at stationary numbers/images for awhile. Games like Unreal 3 or Team Fortress 2, I never notice it.

I'd rate it 3 eggs if I did more text-based work on it...but for gaming, it functions well enough for 4 eggs.
