Pros: I have a case with a fan in the side panel and drives which are mounted vertically, making for a tight fit at the side panel. I needed to get the power cable away from the fan and this adapter does that. All connections are snug.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you look closely at Newegg's photo of the SATA connector -- especially the orientation of the 'L' -- before you buy. Visualize if the adapter goes the right way for your application.

Pros: cheap

Cons: it caught on fire and melt 2 other wires in my computer. The part that went bad was the inside wire connection

Other Thoughts: should have spent more money and bought a better cable
