5 out of 5 eggsGreat for PS4 use!

Pros: Price for one. Works like it should. Cord doesn't need to be long for connecting it to the Dual shock 4. Feels sturdy enough (good construction).

Cons: Kind of wish it supported my stereo mic but still works just fine. Not knocking an egg off for it.

Other Thoughts: Much easier for me to use this than have separate headphones for my PC and PS4. I said easier for me now because I can simply unhook them from my keyboard and plug them up to the StarTech whenever it's time for me to smack the Hive and Fallen in Destiny.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: Plugged in my steelseries headsets into the adapter then to my laptop, and it works. Don't need any programs.

Cons: The wire for the adapter looks pretty flimsy, reminds me of my apple headphones.

Other Thoughts: If your computer isn't able to detect your microphone, be sure to check the microphone boost level (microphone settings) because mines was at 0 dB when I plugged it in.
I was surprised that it arrived within 2 days after I made my purchase with normal shipping. (shipped within same state CA)

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Lifetime warranty, just plug it in and it works.

Cons: Plastic and cable looks and feels a little cheap but since its a lifetime warranty i'm not worried.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks for me

Pros: Got it for a good price ($9.99).
I wanted it to make conference calls from my iPad mini.
Hooked up an old Teac MC-10 mic, the kind with a 3.5 mini-jack
(bought years and years ago from Radio Shack), to the mic input.
Because the inputs on the Startech were so close together, I had
to put a short extension (male-female) cord into the headphone input.
At the end of that, I put an ordinary splitter (two ring).
Then I proceeded to put two sets of headphones into the splitter.
Had stereo in both. No loss of volume in the earphones. The mic is
cheap and maybe the pickup isn't the greatest, but it really worked! Big plus, the call did not sound like a speakerphone call.
Would recommend it.

Cons: The input (male end) of the mic was a bit oversized, because it needed a 1/4 to 3.5 adapter. This might have contributed to the closeness issue of the mic and headphone inputs.

Other Thoughts: Shouldn't have paid for 2-3 day shipping. Although it did come in three days, the cost was $5.99 or something. Supersaver shipping
makes this item a real buy.
