5 out of 5 eggsErrrmm,....

Pros: Price, Ease of use, Price, Shipping, Price and Price

Cons: LED blinding, bit of a git when changing channels

Other Thoughts: Amazing deal, replaced my 1000W Onkyo Home Theater set, that had 7 speakers and ate electricity. Needless to say my wife was very impressed when I replaced it with this,..... had to put tape over the LED's because it was a little annoying, but for the price, I would have sewn my own head to the curtains,.....

5 out of 5 eggsA step up from previous switches.

Pros: Great switch. Not a single problem. Well constructed. Just works.

Cons: It's a bit smaller than I envisioned, but still great.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome piece of hardware

Pros: only having it for a day now, the quality of the hardware seems very good, it has a decent weight too it and definitely feels high end, the remote is responsive and there is no noticeable delay.

Cons: The only con I can come up with is that the HDMI out is on the side of the unit, but thats very minor, especially considering how small it is.

Other Thoughts: Definitely worth the purchase so far

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Splitter

Pros: It's amazing when you have 1 monitor and you need multiple HDMI devices plugged in.

Cons: The wire organization is a pain, but that's very minimal if you know how to manage your cables.

Other Thoughts: It's not necessary to get this of you have multiple monitors, but if you only have one display, I recommend getting it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Remote operation better than the switch it replaced. The IR input allows a repeater to connect directly without the need to resend the infrared code at the switch making the command more reliable.

Cons: I have yet to find a source for additional remotes.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked for 30 minutes

Pros: Feels well built

Cons: After 30 minutes of usage, the video started flickering and then finally went out.

Other Thoughts: Unboxed and plugged in all HDMI inputs. It felt well built. I powered it up and started watching TV. It worked perfect for 30 minutes. Auto switching and everything - perfect. Then I sat down, relaxed and triumphant, and the video started flickering and finally shut off. No amount unplugging and replugging could get it to feed video for more than 30 seconds after that. Junk.

5 out of 5 eggsHDMI Switch

Pros: Works fine - does not seem to actually need the supplied power supply which was very suprising and a big plus because my power strip is full. The remote works and has enough room by the buttons to allow you to label them.

Cons: No so far. It does seem to automatically switch to whatever is turned on most recently. It will not switch to a port with no connection ahich may be a con or pro depending on what you want.

Other Thoughts: I would have rather had all connections on the back instead of having three on the back and one on each side.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: Does what the description says.

Cons: A little slower to switch sources than I expected. Switches to the last device turned on whether I want it to or not.

Other Thoughts: My amplifier has a Blu-ray player built into it that I don't use. When I turn the amplifier on it switches to that Blu-ray player and I have to return it to what I want. It would be nice to be able to turn off that feature. Instead I unplugged the blu-ray player from the switch. A kludge but it works.

The device has two ports on the front marked IR and IR ext. Their function is not mentioned in the enclosed documentation. I tried an IR sensor but it didn't . I'll check into it further.
