USB to RS232 (DB9) Male serial Adapter Converter Cable Black M-M Pros: Chipset is the common Prolific Technology PL-2303 or equivalent USB-Serial controller. USB to RS232 (DB9) Male serial Adapter Converter Cable Black M-M Pros: It works ok depending on the device hooked to it and the computer. Cons: One device wouldn't maintain a connection while connected to a serial device. Using the same adapter worked fine with a different type of serial device. Other Thoughts: The adapter seems to object to some types of hardware serial interface in your serial device or computer. By swapping laptops and serial devices I got everything working so can't really complain. I have 3 or these now. Will buy again if needed. Did you find this review helpful?
