Two of three male connectors are missing the pins of tachometric signal,ensure your fan speed monitor won't bounce all over the place from getting three sense signals.Guarantee motherboard getting an accurate RPM signal.
Only one of the three fans sends its tach signal (the one with full 4-pin connector) reports its RPM, but the others will still follow the PWM signal.

PWM fan splitter with nicely shielded cables. Makes using multiple fans possible when MB Fan headers are a prime real estate. I'm not running any super high end fans, but the 3 Corsair AF120's I have hooked up to it run flawlessly. Cons: None Other Thoughts: They are fan splitters and they work! The jacket and connectors look great inside the case. Cons: None Other Thoughts: On a new computer build, the mobo only had two-4 pin hookups in addition to the fan for the CPU. Allows these fans to run off of one header and all at the same speed. PWM does the regulating. Works very well. Cons: None Other Thoughts: Only one of the plugs going to the fans has 4 pins, the other 2 have only 3 pins. This is done on purpose so that the PWM sensor only receives one signal and doesn't get "confused" from multiple signals.
