LOGISYS Computer ML12GN LED Super Bright Sunlight Stick

Pros: I first used their cold cathode lights which burnt out twice on me with a loud electrical zapping noise that made me scared to keep using them. LEDs just seem safer.

They give off bright, even light. I'm using 2 more on a molex extension to backlight my monitor. Being molex will allow my backlight to turn off with my computer and keep me from having to do it independently.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: Super Bright easy to install, as long as you clean the surfaces the velcro works fine!

Cons: pins seem a little flimsy if you're not careful.

Other Thoughts: Make Sure your case has room for the bar, routing the wiring is easy, just be care. In all Enjoy the light out put on these inexpensive sukcers!

Pros: It's bright and it lights up my case. I got two of these because I have a Coolermaster HAF X Case and even though one stick is bright, two sticks light up the case perfectly!

Cons: The sticky pads they provide to attach to your case suck. For one of the light sticks, I zip tied it to the back plate of my case, but the other stick I had no place to zip tie and the light stick would fall into the case because I had to use the included sticky pads. I ended up using clear tape to fasten it securely, which isn't visible because of where it's located on the case, but caveat emptor.

Cons: LEDs are supposed to stay cool, but this "Sunlight stick" does get somewhat warm. There are small resistors embedded between the LEDs (hard to see in the pictures here) and this is what warms the whole tube. I also tested it outside the PC case (to eliminate the case as a possible contributor to the warming), and it does gets noticeably warm in about 10 minutes.

Other Thoughts: The Sunlight stick temperatures are not a big deal if you have good adequate cooling in your case and I doubt it would add that much heat to your system, as your CPU, chipset, graphics card are by far much greater contributors. But if you have a cramped system with poor airflow, this could be just another heat source to contend with.

When they call this a "Super Bright Sunlight Stick", they were not joking in the least. The LEDs are almost blinding if you stare at them with the LED lights pointing directly at you. One stick can light up your whole case really well with a green glow. So if you want to spice up the inside of your case with a beautiful glow, I would definitely recommend this.

Pros: Very bright, very green, easey to install, really lights up the inside of my case. Just what I was looking for. My son wants to know when I am going to add a Disco Ball. Anyone know where I can get one?

Pros: Bright green, looks good in DF-35 case with white lights. Lighting is nice and even.

Cons: Sticky side of included velcro didn't stay for more than a day. Just use a zip tie.

Pros: Very bright, comes with Velcro/double sided tape to attach anywhere in the case. I have one along the top and it sticks just fine. It has a molex run through so if you have multiple lights or fans it won't take up precious PSU cables.

Cons: The Velcro is a little flimsy but that's not that big of a deal. Other than that it's a great product.

Other Thoughts: I had one in my case for a while, finally got a second to light of the dark end of the case and it looks amazing; the length is perfect for a mid-tower to put on the top and bottom along the seam that way they illuminate the entire case but aren't visible. Make sure you adhere them with the LED facing the right direction, it will make a difference in the illumination.

Other Thoughts: I have an Cooler Master NV 690 (nVidia edition), I mounted the light bar to the top of the case (led's facing down). Lights every square inch of the case.

By the way, when using Velcro always clean the area you are applying it to with Alcohol. In layman's turms, "Clean sticky things stick better!"

Other Thoughts: Exactly what I was looking for, you might get a more ambient light from a cathode kit, but the bang for the buck ratio kit on this stick is off the charts. Easy install, great color light, all at a reasonable price. Sign me up!

For those interest, the LED's on this kit do not have any animations like those from the meteor kit or other similar products. This may be a plus or minus depending on the individual.
