It's a DVI-D cable which means it is compatible with most of the DVI sockets (DVI-D and DVI-I) nowadays and only working at Digital Mode(That's exactly why we use DVI). This cable works on my A85w motherboard. 2. Gold-plated 3. running good, no noise on the screen Cons: the plastic shield of plugin is a little puffy for my 7660D DVI socket on the motherboard. Anyone that tells you the D-sub cable is just as good, is mistaken. I bought a used Dell 19" widescreen, used it with an analog VGA d-sub cable till this arrived. What a difference, much brighter and crisper display. 1440x900 looks awesome. Cons: Could be a little more supple. Minus 1 egg.
