1 out of 5 eggsNot very positive

Pros: Reasonable price.

Cons: Couldn't get it to work. No detailed instructions.

Other Thoughts: I suppose this thing works, but I hooked it up as shown in the illustration, led came on, but the drive didn't power up. I must be doing something wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsIt does the job.

Pros: Does the job.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It's cheap and it's reliable. If you're like me and your power supply only has one SATA power and you need multiples, get one or two or 10 of these.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Most case/psu combos don't come with enough SATA power plugs; when 'ya need 'em, ya' need 'em!

Cons: Be careful of the little beasties - I have a small but ever growing pile of bad ones. Problem is, in one position they work fine; move 'em a bit (or, even worse, let 'em relax into a different position over time) and - OOPS - "disappearing drives"!

Other Thoughts: Odd point - I have ones from at least four makers - all share the same mold marks on the SATA end's plastic part - all from the same injection machine somewhere in China??
