5 out of 5 eggsWoks

Pros: Works for crossfire. Non mini version lasted longer however had more drop outs. However I might have replaced this one mistakenly to correct an issue that is power supply related. New one helped but maybe the psu issues fried the last one.

Cons: n/a

3 out of 5 eggsNo 120hz

Pros: It works well at 1080p 60hz but it is advertised as a dual-link capable item... but it is not completely dual link capable.

Cons: No 120hz at any screen size. The most this is capable of doing at 1080p is 60hz.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to do eyefinity with my 3 acer GD235hz monitors, which I had previously been using for surround 3d, but because of macrostuttering I gave up on it. But that is another story.

If you need a larger than 1080p display this will work well, but for 1080p 60hz there are alot cheaper options out there.

Pros: Works perfectly and allows 120hz.

Nuff said.

Cons: Cables could be a bit longer.

Other Thoughts: Accell needs to ditch the plastic clam shell packaging.

4 out of 5 eggsGot 2560x1600? Then you need this

Pros: It works and is the only option for someone with a 2560x1600 monitor that wants to connect it to a video card with mini display ports (ATI uses them on the Eyefiniti 6 cards).

Cons: Most expensive dongle with no options to buy it if you want a 2560x1600 monitor to attach to a mini display port.

Other Thoughts: Sure glad I don't want three 2560x1600 monitors in Eyefinity!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: This is a flawless adaptor for eyefinity especially if you have a 5870 2gb Eyefinity 6 Card. No stutters/lines/resolution errors. I tried the apple active adaptor before purchasing this one thankfully I could get all my money back with their 2 week guarantee.

Cons: $89 - and the cheaper solution was the sapphire (regular) displayport to dvi which was suppose to be active but that didn't work at all. I will be purchasing 3 more of these if prices drop and i get 3 more monitors.

Other Thoughts: if you have the money and 3 monitors with a 5870 eyefinity 6 card get it you will not regret the results, I can't imagine gaming, web-designing, photoshopping, and doing other varies computing without atleast 3 monitors in extended or eyefinity.

4 out of 5 eggsLimited system support

Pros: This adapter is a great concept. If you have system with a mini Displayport and an older 30 inch LCD with a dual link DVI, this is the ticket to get to 2560x1600 resolution. The USB cacble is necessary since this is an active connection. Passive single link DVI cables are good up to 1920x1200. Worked great on Macbook to a 30 inch Cinema display.

Cons: I tried this item on an HP Envy 14 to a 30 inch Dell 3007 FPW-HC without success. The 5650 ATI card does not detect the monitor connection under display options. The item is noted to be ATI Eyefinity certified but did not work in this scenario.

Other Thoughts: Great concept but you may be rolling the dice with certain configurations. I suspect this item will yield a lot of returns.
