5 out of 5 eggs6pin VGA 8pin split. Wow! NX1500 owners will love.

Pros: It works its a plug. As long as you read what it is before you buy this adapter before thinking it is some other type adapter and then complain and leave harsh egg reports; you did not even read the specifications of the actual product you where researching and intending to buy if said product could perform said task. Hahahaha!

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Start mining Scrypt man!

5 out of 5 eggs6-pin PCI-Express male to 4+4-pin EPS female cable

Pros: Exactly what I needed to add the additional EPS connector for my Dual Xeon system since my PSU only had 1 EPS 8-pin connector. (And NO, this is not for 8-Pin PCI-e GPU's)

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsPCI to 12V MB converter

Pros: Price is right.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Just right to convert that extra PCIe 6-pin to another 12V 8-pin connector for the motherboard. My power supply had 2 but I needed 3 and this fit the bill exactly.

5 out of 5 eggsbring this converter back! - too unique to be pulled just because people don't read

Pros: Bought it last week from *mazon after some tough searching & am very happy with the find. Works great & have seen no difference in system performance since implementing it, other than much higher efficiency from getting to use a lower-wattage PSU.
This converter is extremely useful for case-clutter-averse people/ businesses with dual- or quad-socket server boards requiring two 8-pin EPS12V inputs. There are TONS of great, highly-efficient, low-wattage, relatively inexpensive PSUs out there (with otherwise-useless PCIe cables) that are passed up by this market segment solely because of their single-CPU limitation. Many times, those PSUs can be semi-modular with 3-4 permanent connections - all that's needed is this cable converter to make them fully-modular. Yes, there are other ways of UNDER-powering or destabilizing builds by using some cheap molex-to-8pin adapter or using a passive Y splitter, but those don't get it done right & aren't as cost- & space-effective as this solution.

Cons: The only con is that I couldn't buy it at a very reasonable price because there aren't enough online vendors still selling it - my guess is because too many people couldn't read 8 product title words and created too high of a return rate when they realized it wasn't an all-PCIe 6-to-8pin adapter.
Those people shouldn't be the reason this converter barely exists - bring it back!

Other Thoughts: Just add a more-descriptive title and overview page - including the words 'CPU' AND 'processor' would be a good starting point.
And swap the male/female designations to reduce confusion - I hate it when people change the mainstream labeling just because of the way the pins inside the connectors technically meet.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid

Pros: Works as designed, with a little fiddling.

Cons: Outer mesh sleeve immediately separated from either end of cable. One pin on the PCI side arrived bent, I had to bend it back and thusly I am concerned about the longevity of the cable.

Other Thoughts: This is my first one-egg review and I write it with a heavy heart. While the cable works, the incredibly poor quality of the cable leaves me with a sour taste.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Works, much better overclocks and stability.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I had accidentally made a power trap by buying a low power pcie vidoe card that did not have a pcie pluggin. Maxed out the motherboard rail of my power supply, with this cable I was able to use the amps on the pcie rail.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Works As advertised. Used as an adapter from 6pin to (2) 4 pin(8 pin) adapter to power my Phenom II X3 720 unlocked to X4. Works great

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Its for CPU not your video card. fyi. Not much else to say.

5 out of 5 eggsdo not use this as a PCI adapter

Pros: its an adapter... what?

Cons: i made the mistake of using this with the intention of converting a PCI-e 6-pin to a PCI-e 8-pin so i could use my new graphics card, but alas, i had not read what this was really used for.
after what seems to have been hours, i gave up, threw my old video card back in and searched to see what the problem was.

Other Thoughts: I REPEAT THIS IS NOT FOR VIDEO CARDS.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprise

Pros: It works. Standard with wires I would hope, as they are just bits of metal in plastic, but it's always nice when things go as planned.

Cons: No thanks. I have enough issues without a cord failing.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat I expected

Pros: Try to ignore the other reviews that angrily defame the product for its lack of graphics connectivity; as it says, this is EPS, so it's FOR YOUR PROCESSOR. And does it do its job? Yes!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: To be honest, I have my reservations about converting a 6-pin PCI-E into 8-pin... I wonder if it's spreading the voltage correctly over the four connections. Still, I'm using this on a Q9400 (2.66) OC'ed to 3.2ghz, and I've been able to pull that off (no errors) with a mere 4-pin power connector, so this can only be better. I wish there was more information on this subject.
