5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfectly

Pros: Fairly inexpensive, works exactly as expected, doesn't appear to be poor quality.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It works exactly as it should. The sleeving of the wires is the normal black that can be a bit see through at times, but not very noticable, especially if you plan to re-sleeve it at all. Obviously this isn't the ideal fix for a graphics card, ideally you would want your PSU to be directly connected to whatever it is you're powering, but this is a close second for if you can't shell out the extra cash for a new PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product - Know your PSU

Pros: Works - Can be used to convert a 6 pin to a 6+2 (8 pin) pci-e connection or to provide two pci-e power connections (either 6 or 6+2 pin) from one 6 pin.
Clean - Nice mesh sleeve to bundle the cables together.
Reliable - I have used for long durations under situations stressful on components (read "other thoughts")
Inexpensive - Cheaper than most alternatives no matter your application

Cons: Mesh sleeve is rather cheap so don't play with it too much or it will start to unravel. Shouldn't happen and even if it does it won't affect function.

Other Thoughts: I use this on my GTX580 to convert a 6 pin pci-e connector on it's own 18 amp rail to an 8 pin pci-e connection. I have run all stress tests including longevity tests (heavy folding@home GPU work for over a week.)
Unfortunately I cannot speak for it's ability to split one 6 pin to dual 6, 8, or a combination of these as the GTX 580 requires 244 watts and an 8 pin only offers 150W by specification and even if I went above that I have each graphics 6 pin adapter on it's own 18 amp (216W) rail. My guess is if you have enough power coming from the PSU this cable will handle it like a champ. It works fine for me, and my GPU is likely at PCI-E power specification limits, if not occasionally going above them.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked great!

Pros: Matched pictures and description, and is a quality product. Always get a product with sheathing, it doesn't just look better, it avoids clutter and wiring issues.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I used this to connect a Nvidia 9800 GX2 to a ASUS M3A70-T mobo with a Rosewill 850 power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality Product

Pros: Great cable, as expected. No issues with quality or performance.

Cons: Sucks to pay $10+ for such s small Y cable. A little unattractive in a dual 6pin video card with the +2 adapter hanging to the side.

Other Thoughts: Probably the best solution on the market, much better than using a dual 4 pin to 6/8 pin adapter that comes with most video cards. Excellent for my crossfire setup.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Durable. All the wires are secure in the pins and the pins in the plug. Black sheeth(sp?) went nicely with the other cables wrapped in the same stuff. Nice long shrink wrap around the ends to secure it nicely, still hasn't slipped out. Perfect length for my CM-Stacker. The retaining clips weren't too tight or loose.

Cons: Price! The only place, short of fabrication, to get these things are online. After shipping it's over 10 bones. The separated pins that convert the plug from 6 to 8 pins get hung up sometimes when plugging it in so you have to pull it back out and then the pins separate again. Not a big deal. The price is why it gets 4 eggs.

Other Thoughts: I forget which plug I had plugged in but I was using it to power up a 2nd video card and I smelt that distinct burning of electrical components. I shut off the computer, reseated it and now all is well, I don't know.
