cheap
audio passed though
works with a radio shack branded hdmi to rca a/v, so I can now go from laptop display port to hdmi to rca to old crt tv. the laptop auto change its screen rez to match tv but its a nice pic to watch/ stream videos from web to tv.

Pros: Nice cable and that's it.

Cons: I was trying to hook up my direct tv box to my new 28 inch monitor Acer XB280HK. When I hooked it up, it shows it doesn't have a signal. So I thought I had a bad HDMI cable. So I tried another one, still nothing worked. So I have nothing positive to say about this adapter.

Pros: It passed initial testing, so it's not DOA or anything. Can't comment on more than that: this thing is going in my go-bag for traveling repair and troubleshooting, so it won't be getting hours of straight use and testing. If it ever fails I'll update my rating.

Pros: Cheaper than the display port to hdmi cable by a lot and this way you can use what ever length you want. No extra noise or artifacts, sound was good.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Far more flexible then buying a fixed lenght DP2HDMI cable
