1 out of 5 eggsWouldn't recommend

Pros: Had enough juice to run 130 watt laptop power supply.

Cons: Burned up in less than 2 months occasional use. It would also need some "encouragement" to get it to work. I did this by turning the car off then starting it back up while laptop power supply was plugged in (not the laptop). Used in an F150 with 20A(fuse) power source. It would blow the 20A fuse when laptop was at full power so I changed it for 30A and it worked fine till the unit itself started to act up. Should have stopped using it when the 20A blew(240W draw), but it seemed to work fine after upping the fuse.

Other Thoughts: First the touch mouse on the laptop was not tracking right then the unit blew up blowing the 30A fuse on the trucks power source. When the unit went the fan on the inverter went to 100%. I changed the fuse and tried plugging the inverter in. With nothing plugged into it the fan immediately spun up to %100 again. I didn't mess with it any more after that. Fortunately no permanent damage to anything. I bought a 200w inverter from another brand, it runs without issue on 20A source.

5 out of 5 eggsA capable little unit.

Pros: Includes a USB port alongside its AC outlets.
Does have a low battery alarm and overload alarm.

Cons: Not TRIPP-LITE, but it's given me no problems.

Other Thoughts: I didn't buy my unit from newegg, so I can't be truly 100% confident that it is the same item, but it is rated the same wattage and looks identical.
