5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Nippon Labs HDMI TO DVI Cable 15 ft. with Gold-plated Connector Model DVI 5 HDMI

Pros: No quality loss from length
Good length
Price

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I used these to connect my computer to my 42" Plasma tv. I wanted it to see if the quality for netflix would be better, than using my xbox. It looks better and now I've started using it, instead of my computer monitor. I've been able to play high end video games with the tv with higher resolution now.

1 out of 5 eggswow.

This review is from: Nippon Labs HDMI TO DVI Cable 15 ft. with Gold-plated Connector Model DVI 5 HDMI

Pros: Long

Cons: All 3 defective.

Other Thoughts: Out of the three cables I received today, one didn't display at all, one made my screen all sorts of colorful with red pixels dotting everything, The other just didn't want to stay in the connector. Jiggled, the cables swapped them into different monitors. Checked the HDMI and DVI ports with a similar cable and everything else checks out. Either I'm very lucky to of gotten three defective cables or they are very poorly made. I tend to lean twords the latter. Buy at your own risk.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfectly!..

This review is from: Nippon Labs HDMI TO DVI Cable 15 ft. with Gold-plated Connector Model DVI 5 HDMI

Pros: It is long, and is thick.....almost as if it is high-quality or some thing.. But also, it comes with all of the pins on the DVI side.. Meaning, it isn't missing any in the middle like the single-link DVIs.. So this cable must be dual-link..

An other great pro is that it is a japanese company! And not one of those shoddy chinese or american companies..

Cons: None..

Other Thoughts: I'm using this cable to hook my raspberry-pi up to one of my computer monitors..

4 out of 5 eggsDoes What it Says

This review is from: Nippon Labs HDMI TO DVI Cable 15 ft. with Gold-plated Connector Model DVI 5 HDMI

Pros: Long cable, easier to hide when running to my TV
Converts the DVI (Digital) output on my docking station to HDMI on my TV

Cons: My computer's screen resolution does not have a setting to perfectly match to my Samsung 720p HDMI 32" LCD, so I can't get a flush picture on the screen. If this is a result of the cable (I think it has to do with the DVI prongs converting to HDMI) I would have paid more for a better cable that would allow more screen resolution options (I can get about double the resolution options for both of my computer monitors). That's the only reason my review is a 4/5.

2 out of 5 eggsCouldn't get it too work right

This review is from: Nippon Labs HDMI TO DVI Cable 15 ft. with Gold-plated Connector Model DVI 5 HDMI

Pros: It's a cable

Cons: The resolution was messed up on my Sony LCD I was trying to use it with. I messed around with it a little bit but couldn't get it to work right. I never tried on another system and I've gotten a new video card since then so maybe there was something wrong with my system, but I was too frustrated and it wasn't very expensive so I just threw it in a box and left it there.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this by accident, thinking I was getting an HDMI to HDMI cable (darned drunk ordering!) so I was suprised when I opened it and realized what I had ordered, I tried to use it even though it wasn't what I wanted, but I couldn't get it to work right (sober when I was trying that) so I gave up and ordered the correct thing.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I needed.

This review is from: Nippon Labs HDMI TO DVI Cable 15 ft. with Gold-plated Connector Model DVI 5 HDMI

Pros: It does exactly what I want.

Cons: Cable is NOT worth its weight in gold.

Other Thoughts: I bought this cable to connect a desktop computer to my TV. It is a major improvement over the analog VGA cable I was using. If you are using an analog cable to connect a computer to your HDTV, you are missing out on picture quality and easy of use.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Cable

This review is from: Nippon Labs HDMI TO DVI Cable 15 ft. with Gold-plated Connector Model DVI 5 HDMI

Pros: Excellent Quality from PC to 50" Plasma HDTV

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Took a bit of messing around with resolutions but every pixel is full and perfect. NOTE if you plan to have 2 displays (I have a monitor + the tv) the way to receive the best picture on the TV is to extend the desktop across them. Duplicating them is convinient if you switch between them but you'll sacrice picture in on of the two.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cable

This review is from: Nippon Labs HDMI TO DVI Cable 15 ft. with Gold-plated Connector Model DVI 5 HDMI

Pros: Perfect length for what I need with no connection degredation.
Connected my PC to my 32inch HD TV with no problems. Will display anything I put into my comp from blue rays to games. Makes regular dvds and games look awesome. I don't know why I had not done this sooner.

Cons: None so far.
