5 out of 5 eggsIt's Grrreat!

This review is from: Nippon Labs Premium 36" (3 ft.) SATA II Cable with locking latch for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drive 3ft Model SATA-L1-R 3 feet

Pros: The metal clip is much better then those with a plastic one and it's long enough to reach anywhere in a standard mid-tower case.

Cons: These are *really* minor knit-picks:
Might be a little too much cable in a smaller case like a mini-tower. Only one end has a locking clip.

3 out of 5 eggsMetal Tab Issue

This review is from: Nippon Labs Premium 36" (3 ft.) SATA II Cable with locking latch for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drive 3ft Model SATA-L1-R 3 feet

Pros: Basic cable - which would be 5 eggs if it fit

Cons: I had issues with the locking latch interfering with the upper SATA connection on my ASUS motherboard. No issues connecting to the HDD or optical drive.

This review is from: Nippon Labs Premium 36" (3 ft.) SATA II Cable with locking latch for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drive 3ft Model SATA-L1-R 3 feet

Pros: Decent quality; discount in bulk; not unwieldy to bend and stow; has a smaller connector length which is great in a tight case.

Cons: None.

2 out of 5 eggsWill not work with LG bluray burners

This review is from: Nippon Labs Premium 36" (3 ft.) SATA II Cable with locking latch for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drive 3ft Model SATA-L1-R 3 feet

Pros: Cable connects to SATA ports. Clip works even in older SATA devices.

Cons: The directions to my LG bluray burner state that hooking up the drive with a cable longer than 20" will cause your PC to not be able to start, and just that happened. The second I switched out the cable for a shorter one, booted up just fine. This is too long for a SATA cable. Nobody should make SATA cables that are too long to work in all devices. SATA in its nature is going to be carrying a large amount of data all the time, due to the commonly attached devices using the interface.

Other Thoughts: Maybe this works fine for HDD's but I'm not taking any chances.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Nippon Labs Premium 36" (3 ft.) SATA II Cable with locking latch for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drive 3ft Model SATA-L1-R 3 feet

Pros: length

Cons: works well for big atx computer cases any thing smaller i would purchase a smaller cable.

Other Thoughts: the cable is long almost 2 feet which is the max length that should be used with a sata cable any longer and your data can become corrupted.
