4 out of 5 eggsshort

Pros: Works great. Easily connected a second DVI monitor to my video card.

Cons: It's geometry, short and fat, makes it difficult to fit in my hdmi jack which is the 3rd (1st would be equally difficult) port on my video card. It just barely fit. There would be no problem if the hdmi port is in the middle. One egg off for this.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Fine

Pros: Works Fine

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: DVI doesn't carry audio so you need a separate audio cable and your TV needs to have an audio port associated with the HDMI port.

3 out of 5 eggsit works

Pros: simple and cheap and seems rather durable

Cons: it seems larger then it needs to be

Other Thoughts: well i bought this so i could set up a 2nd monitor but when i got it in the mail and tried plugging it in it was to big for the space between the slot and the side of the computer next to my video card so i had to buy a swivel HDMI adapter from best buy then it works fine just a slight problem that just bugged me and needed to be said.

2 out of 5 eggsTight or no fit

Pros: Small and cheap.

Cons: Too small and won't fit if your HDMI connector is too close to the case edge, as it was on my HD5670 video card.

Other Thoughts: I had to use a dongle my son got free with his video card - which made me wonder why my Gigabyte HD5670 I purchased from Newegg just a month ago didn't include one. I guess Nvidia is more mindful of such things than is AMD.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes its purpose, DVI->HDMI

Pros: Works great,, it converts the DVI out from my monitor cables to a nice compact HDMI connection. Colors are brighter and Resolution crispy as toast! Connectors look above average quality. Constant and reliable connections, although dont pull on it, HDMI connectors dont lock on like DVI and VGA connectors.

Cons: Where did the LED go, i though there was one, oh well... not like im going to stare at the LED in the back, more like the screen.

Other Thoughts: MY new Hanns G/ Hanspree 23.6 monitor came with a VGA cable, why im not sure. Probably cause they cost 99c , but no DVI or HDMI cables... Fortunately, other monitors i bought in the past came with nice DVI cables :) Great for my video card, but... WHERE IS DVI connector to the HANNS G!!!!!!! Instead HDMI input !!! WT HECK! So, a few dollars and days later, and monitor settings later, perfect!

1 out of 5 eggsNow I know why it was so cheap

Pros: Couldn't find any pros. Couldn't leave less than an overall one rating.

Cons: Does not work. Tried it with two different TVs and two different DVI cables (both cables brand new). No signal to either TV.

Other Thoughts: Will return this for refund.

2 out of 5 eggsNot The Most "Common" Kind of DVI

Pros: Cheap! Has a LED light so you know when it is plugged in.

Cons: Will not work with DVI-A, so if your using a VGA-to-DVI adapter, you uh, can't with most adapters.

It won't work with DVI-I, dual or single.

It WILL work with DVI-D, dual or signal.

If you don't understand what this means, wikipedia it and check your cables before doing anything dumb like I did.

Other Thoughts: I guess I assumed DVI-A would work. I learned a valuable lesson to check first and not to assume.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Functions perfectly and the green LED informed me my video connection was ready to go even before I plugged in a monitor. Originally purchased for my ASUS M3N78 Pro motherboard; the $55 open box unit was missing all accessories but the HDMI/DVI adapter was the only thing I desired or couldn't download (e.g. manual, BIOS upgrade, software drivers).

I may buy a couple more for my DTV up-converter and HD-DVR so I can use them with wide-screen LCD monitors. Avoid an HDTV purchase since audio is connected through home theater?

Cons: None, thanks Newegg. Delivery was quick enough.
