About USB 2.0 cable A/Male to A/Female - This cable features a standard USB A Male connector on one end and an A Female connector on the other and is particularly useful for extending the reach of a USB cable with a proprietary connector or fixed device (such as an AC adapter) on one end. The connectors are gold plated to ensure smooth, corrosion free connections.

High-Speed USB 2.0 - The higher bandwidth of Hi-Speed USB 2.0 will support the most demanding PC user applications, such as digital image creation and web publishing, where multiple high-speed peripherals will be running simultaneously. Hi-Speed USB 2.0 is expected to replace USB 1.1, which is already a ubiquitous connector on PC systems.

Compatibility - Corrosion-resistant gold-plated connectors and foil/braid shielding for long-term performance (without noise or signal loss). Full USB 2.0 capability; including 480 Mbps data transfer speed and backwards compatibility with older versions. Devices with USB B Male ports, including keyboards, mice and speed-critical devices like scanners, hard drives, printers, servers, cameras and more.

Quality and Performance - The USB 2.0 Cable features shielding that provides protection against noise from electromagnetic and radio-frequency signals, keeping your signal clear with less loss of bandwidth for higher performance. Also features gold-plated connectors that resist corrosion for signal purity.

Installation - Plug-&-play: Ready to use, once each end is connected to a compatible device

5 out of 5 eggsKnow your limits

Pros: Extends 6 feet. I was able to extend my drawing tablet and there seemed to be no loss in how accurate it was. I was also able to extend my PS3 controller and I found no lag, whether I used it on my console or computer. 6 feet can make a lot of difference.

Cons: Might not transfer data as fast/at all depending on the device. Worked insanely slowly on a portable hard drive, didn't recognize my phone, and didn't work at all on a smart pen. Will still charge said devices if they can be, but at a slower pace. It's always best to use the chargers that come with your devices, with no extenders.

Other Thoughts: I do believe someone mentioned this in a review, but above certain lengths, the ability to transfer signals in any cable is degraded. That is why you shouldn't rely on these cables, especially, for important things. I just use it to comfortably use my tablet and game controllers. If you absolutely need something powerful extended, you're going to need to buy some premium, expensive stuff with it's own power source.

1 out of 5 eggsAVIOD AT ALL COSTS

Pros: Cheap. Again I say, CHEAP.

Cons: TERRIBLE. Whatever USB device you connect, if Windows even recognizes it, runs in slow motion. Save yourself a lot of frustration - do NOT buy this!

1 out of 5 eggsSomething is amiss with these.

Pros: I bought 20 of these over a year ago and didn't have a problem with any of them. Worked perfectly.

Cons: Just bought 5 more, same part # as previous ones but are molded a little differently and have a skinnier cable. None of these 5 worked. "unrecognized device" on everything I plugged into them. Tried 3 computers and multiple devices. Same issue. Just throwing them away and ordering another brand.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend the newest iteration of these cables.

2 out of 5 eggsMight not be for you

Pros: It's 6ft but with restrictions

Cons: With it being a 6ft extension, there is loss of power/signal which might not let you use whatever you were planning to connect.

1 out of 5 eggsReceived Defective extension USB Cable

Pros: thought I'd try an economical cable but now find it was a waste of time. The purpose of the cable was to extend the USB port of the PC and attach a flash drive. I used a good known flash drive that works fine by itself but thru the extension cable, it fails. Tried this on two different PC's. Device manager shows the device as Unrecognizable. Now I have to go thru the time of returning it. I will purchase a better quality cable

Cons: Poor quality!

5 out of 5 eggsUSB male to female extension

Pros: This USB extension is connected to my mouse USB. So that when they walk into it they will hit the extension instead of obliterating my mouse USB.

It's very durable.

the USB stays connected to the components unless someone yanks it out.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for usage of my wireless adapter, but i ended up using it for my wireless mouse on my laptop. It works perfect so that when people "accidentally" walk into my laptop the mouse usb doesn't get affected by it. Perfect usage.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a cable

Pros: It perfectly connects devices that use HDMI signals. No issues. Video card is now connected to television set. Could not have been more simple. Actually it's just a cable, there isn't anything more simple.

Cons: None. It's a cheap HDMI cable. It's not attempting to be anything more.

Other Thoughts: It's a cheap HDMI cable. It is totally mediocre in every possible way. Entirely adequate.

My only gripe is the packaging. It came mailed to me in an envelope and the cable was in a cheap plastic bag. For a 5 dollar cable I wasn't expecting anything more elaborate. I just wanted you to know that if you are fussy about the idea a cable might get bent during shipping (mine did not) then you might want something with a cardboard backing.
