1 out of 5 eggsPoor signal. Most devices will not work

Pros: Price

Cons: Bought this cable to extend my USB Network Adapter. The cable's resistance does not allow enough signal through to power the device. I was able to get one device to work through it but most everything does not. I doubt it will make economical sense to return it. Purchase with caution as over 25% of the owners could not get it to work with their USB device.

2 out of 5 eggsWatch out for charging

Pros: Cheap enough compared to store cables.

Cons: Significant reduction in charging ability when I used this cable. My Android tablet with tell me the estimated charge time and with this cable it was 22 hrs. I took the cable out and then it told me it was going to take 4 hrs. The charger was a 5V, 2.1A. I bought the cable to charge things so for me it was a waste of money.

Other Thoughts: Go with the 9 ft. I have two of those and they seemed to work fine, well at least nothing that I noticed.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what its supposed to do

Pros: Length. 15ft is great!

Cons: Not exactly the best quality.

Other Thoughts: I havent had it break on me yet, and it does the job. I havent tried it as a data cable, but it has no problem charging anything, and thats the main reason I use it. Just dont charge on it with a charger with a low current like a laptop or a desktop computer. Usually wall chargers are the best.

2 out of 5 eggsNeed to know this

Pros: This cable did not work for me at all for extending my printer cable to an ultimate 27 feet, but in further researching I discovered that Max. length for a printer cable is 16 feet and after that YOU NEED A REPEATER to amplify the signals so it gets to your printer - so the cable may in fact be perfectly fine. Earlier I rated it as a one.

Cons: When selling a 16 foot or longer USB EXTENDER cable (which is Max. length for printer cable) I think that there should be some kind of note that alerts people that if this is going to a PRINTER, IT NEEDS A REPEATER. Seems like it would help people out. Even the smart ones who may just forget. Ratings might be higher for your product.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work

Pros: None

Cons: Windows fails to recognize anything when using the extension cable, usb devices work perfectly when plugging directly into USB ports so it's the cable that's not working.
