5 out of 5 eggsCorrection, works perfectly

Pros: I was wrong in my earlier review, I didn't fully connect the adapter to the cable; its a very snug fit, so snug that others alike might mistake as it is not meant to go in all the way, but its so loose otherwise, but despite that you would get mono for having a loose, not fully inserted connection. My apologies. The same thing happened to me with hdmi, it felt like it was in all the way, but it wasn't, and motherboards are so fragile, like I think I just busted the poorly designed sata ports that face sideways.

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggsMono, not sterero

Pros: See cons

Cons: Listen the quality of the cable itself is excellent, but the part that connect to your earphones must be held with a thumb to receive a stereo signal; its insecure. So as stated, its mono unless you want to tape it down or hold with thumb.

Other Thoughts: Note, this is a common problem, I have yet to find a secure stereo extension.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: No noticeable loss of recording quality; using in my line in port. Male connector that goes into my sound card fits well.

Cons: None. Maybe if you intended to move it around/disconnect and reconnect it often, you might want to spend a little more. The female connector isn't super tight w/the male end of my already existing cable. I don't move it at all, so it's no problem for me, but it might be a consideration for someone else.

3 out of 5 eggsIts a cheap cord

Pros: Works, Cheap,Long

Cons: The ends are not the best plugs I've ever seen. The jack on one end will easily bend and could break with little effort, but it does the job. I would not recommended if you intend to use this everyday.

Other Thoughts: for a few bucks this isnt a bad deal on a cord.

5 out of 5 eggsNot real complicated

Pros: Does what it says. You plug into one end, and then plug into the other, then your cord is longer. Like magic, booya.

Cons: It wasn't free?

Other Thoughts: Computer is tucked far away, and KB, mouse, monitor w/ speakers is cleanly on my desk in the middle of the room. Couldn't do that without extensions.

5 out of 5 eggsGood length, does job well

Pros: The length is good and long, perfect for whatever you need
Doesn't seem to reduce quality at all

Cons: The female end of the connector is maybe a little tight - have to force your audio plug in, though it's not a major issue at all.

Other Thoughts: I use this cord for my microphone. Doesn't reduce recording quality at all, and it's worked perfectly since I got it. Haven't tried it with headphones or speakers, but I'm confident it would perform just as well. Definitely recommend.

2 out of 5 eggsDoes not fit snugly into socket

Pros: Nothing in particular that makes it stand out from other 12 ft extension cables.

Cons: The male end of the extension cable does not fit snugly into the audio socket, creating an inconsistent signal with frequent static whenever the cable is nudged. Be wary of this when purchasing this product.
