This review is from: Nippon Labs 50 ft. Premium 3.5mm Audio Stereo Speaker Extension Cable M/F 50ft Model SPC-50MF 50 feet
Pros: This cable has the length I was looking for and advertises that is uses twisted shielding.
Cons: As I couldn't find any other 3.5 mm cables that had metal shielding on Newegg, I decided to give this low cost cable a try. However, it really does pick up the noise when placed next to other cables. This is not a good choice if you are trying to create a long multi-media setup.
Other Thoughts: If it's not next to HDMI and USB cables, it does work well. For real shielding, look elsewhere.
Rating: 3/5The cable does work very well as it supposed to... Except for the shielding

Pros: 50ft length of cable is really nice to have if you would have-to go farther than what you'd expect while connected to the extension cables with a headphones/headset on; or if you would want to watch a movie or listen to music at a very far distance from your source of music/movie that you're playing them on. These extension cables can also work on your microphone and microphone jack, so you can use your headset without limits of your source of audio... If you didn't know that information. For off-topic purpose; I use them for mainly chatting online with my online friends, and I don't like to be limited to my desk all the time and not wanting to use batteries for a wireless headset. So that part is a plus in my book.
Cons: Even though that I've only owned it for a day, I've realized almost immediately when I tested them, that the shielding on the extension cable doesn't work as well as I had hoped it would, because that I've been picking up radio signals from the extension cable; once I have tested it. This has happened when one of my online friends told me about this and unmuted the microphone playback to listen of what's going on. That's definitely not good for people who doesn't like any kind of interference; ESPECIALLY radio interference, because that can get really annoying and could damage the audio jacks in the long run... From what I've researched. The biggest safety hazard is that, if you go too far from the audio source and someone walks by, that someone can trip over the cable and could possibly damage the cable, the audio jack and maybe hurt the person if the fall was really bad. Please be careful of your surroundings with these extension cables, if you live with other people.
Other Thoughts: This is a cheap cable that does not have proper shielding. it's good for the length of the cable and the price, but that's all that's good for. The shielding should have been more worked on, so it can be 100% shielded; but that makes the price of this extension cable to go up and be much more expensive to purchase. So if you're planning on getting this extension cable, weigh your options first before deciding to purchase this extension cable. Just for off-topic purpose; I do own two of these extension cables, so that I can use both for the headset I currently have and use for online chatting. I was lucky enough to get the two extension cables before the prices went up. It could have been on sale for a little less of when I purchased two of these extension cables. That's just my guess. Also, I'm not replacing these cables because that I have a feeling that if I get replacement cables, they will have the same shielding problem. But as long as they work fine, that's OK with me... For

Pros: It's a cable. Ends are reasonably snug when you plug them in. Stereo amp on on end, stereo headset on the other...
Cons: I would have gotten the 25 ft. cable had this one not been cheaper when the shipping was included.
