5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good quality construction, carrying 3440x1440 @ 60Hz with no issue, and that's all it needs to do.

Cons: Slightly stiff jacket. Nothing problematic.

5 out of 5 eggsThick heavy duty

Pros: Great cables for the price.

The distance of 15' is worth it to have the monitors well away from the workstations.

Cons: The thickness does prevent it from having a great bending radius.

Other Thoughts: Remember to pinch the cable end to release the Display port adapter from the socket, otherwise you will be pulling for a while.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job.

Pros: Well insulated, up to DisplayPort 1.2 standards I believe. Sturdy and solid cables, but easy to flex.

Cons: The clips are a bit of a pain, depending on your monitor. I needed to use some pliers to depress the safety/locking clip on the connector to remove the cable once or twice from my monitor, because it sits so tightly between the monitor and the connector.

Other Thoughts: Does what you need it to. Side note, I wish home audio would adapt to Displayport over HDMI. Wishful thinking. Good cable, good buy.

5 out of 5 eggsAs Described

Pros: No problems with image. Works great with 2560 x 1440 display. Seems durable.

Cons: No real cons. Thinner would be nice, but not a big issue.

5 out of 5 eggsvery pleased with the purchase

Pros: I've tried all the DP to MDP brands sold here and I've concluded there are compatibility issue with AMD cards that involves handshake issue. Which results the computer in failing to wake up the monitors from S3 sleep state (10%), power saver mode (100% as in never wake up), and power reboot (50%). Urgh so frustrated that this issue consumed 2 months of my life trying to figure out a proper solution ....tata, found it. This cable :) lol it works perfectly with the included ATI DP to MDP converter (150cm long). Yup yup so happy now: reboot - check, wake up - check, power saver - check, audio - check, no flickering - check, 15ft - check, fat cable - check, check check check weee

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: appears to be 28awg (maybe a little lower resistance) instead of the regular 32awg that everyone sells here so that makes this cable nice and thick so you don't have any losses over 15ft while maintaining 1440p resolution and audio at the same time, which means it exceeded DP recommended specification of 6ft. And also this cable is extremely well priced for what it does. AMD folks need to go for it. Don't think too hard. Don't waste your time and money with DP-MDP cables. And also don't throw away the 150cm DP to MDP that comes with your graphic card cuz you'll need it with this cable.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: LONG, it just works

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: during install of the cable, i got it stuck on the corner of a vent, and cut a small 1 inch cut in the outside plastic. I repaired the slit with electrical tape, but the cable is now a bit finicky.

The cut didn't go deep, and was actually very clean, I would have hoped a small nick wouldn't have damaged the cable as such.

Either way, I'm still using it. I ziptied the cable in place at various points along the path to prevent it from moving and not being detected.

I wont dock any eggs for a mistake that is entirely my own.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Thick, quality cable. No issues. Decent price. I've used Nippon Labs products in the past in the A/V industry and they are well-regarded.

Cons: Not a con, because I knew it going in, but the cable is quite thick. However, to me this just lends an impression of quality and durability. If you have space constraints and plan to turn your cable at very sharp angles you might want to a shop a little more for something different. I'd highly recommend this cable, however, for permanent installations or BYOD A/V setups.

5 out of 5 eggsAs Good as the $50 Lookalikes!

Pros: Cable was as advertised, fast hookup, fast speeds, display & sound are great! OEM Packaging, who needs a $40 extra branded package?

Nice & Thick too!

Can't beat this cable for the price!

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: I ordered this to go with a monitor that I ordered, which arrived in 3 days. Unfortunately, the cable shipped from another location & arrived a week later.

It would seem that these type of items would be in the same warehouses where the monitors are distributed from, so that they would arrive together. Just a common sense suggestion, not docking an egg for it.

If you order a monitor & this (or similar) cable together, order the cable separately & pay for the 3 day shipping to make sure it gets to you fast. Otherwise, you're likely to get the monitor in 2-3 days & the cable a week later.
