4 out of 5 eggsDon't expect anything amazing but for the price can't be beat.

Pros: Colors look decent.
Fast response time.
Lightweight
Small bezel.
Low price

Cons: Washed out colors*see below*
No display port
Menu system is clunky and hard to navigate

Other Thoughts: Now as everyone else has mentioned this monitor does have badly washed out colors. After 3 months I finally found a solution. In my nvidia video color settings I had to turn digital viberance up to 85% and turned gamma for red green and blue down to nearly 0. This has removed ALL the washed out look it previously had and makes all angles much more pleasant to view. It's a shame you can't do this within the monitor itself. But anyone picking this up I would highly advise you to adjust your color settings in your graphics card control panel. It will solve the washed out issue.

For the price the monitor is great, especially since I found a fix for the colors. Wish it had a display port so I could more easily go triple monitors if I wanted but that's not a big deal. This is a $100 monitor, not a $300+ one. Can't expect the same bells and whistles.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic OEM cable for DisplayPort outputs

Pros: - very good contact in DisplayPort outlet and in the DVI-D outlet (obviously because of the bolts)
- long (3 meters), sufficient for most scenarios depending on the distance between a laptop and an LCD monitor
- flexible and solid though not very stiff, easy to lead under the table, which considering its thickness and stiffness is a nice feature.

Basically this is the only DisplayPort to DVI-D cable that I will ever need and I hope it stands the test of time.

Cons: No, I don't have any serious cons.
The only con is that there must be more and more display connector standards, compliant with always newer versions of HDMI and similar specifications, which is mostly only for manufacturers and the companies they license standards from, and not the consumers.

Other Thoughts: - this is weird, but depending on the type of LCD monitor I connect my Lenovo laptop with DisplayPort, I get different maximum resolutions. When I connect to Acer S231HL, the max resolution is like 1600x900 (though the max resolution of the LCD is 1920x1080) and the image is blurry. There is no way to programmatically change resolution to highest. However when I connect it to 3D-enabled ASUS VG236 (which uses DVI-D input as a 3D enabled monitor), the the maximum resolution I can get on the laptop is the max native resolution of the monitor - 1920x1080.
I can resolve that by using only that one particular LCD display, which is no big deal for me. I was only concerned about situations when I take my laptop to show a presentation or a demo to a larger audience and the external display doesn't get the maximum resolution from the Display Port. It could be Display Port cable parameter/version limitation.

3 out of 5 eggsthumb screw slips

Pros: great cable it works fine except for the DVI side locking screws.

Cons: when hand tighting the screws on the DVI side, one of the screws to lock it down slips so you can not tighten it, and will not loosten as well, had to use pliers to remove it.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: It works. What more can I say. Cable is extremely flexible which is big considering how thick it is.

Cons: Thick

Other Thoughts: If you're planning to use this with a graphics card, make sure it's secured tightly to the case as the size of the cable will put some stress on the graphics card.
