5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Adapts displayport to hdmi...
HD video and audio in one cable.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Used to connect Dell E-dock to HD television for use as duplicate/extended desktop... Must unplug 1/8 speaker plug from dock jack to send audio to HDTV.

4 out of 5 eggsNot for (from) HDMI TO DisplayPort

Pros: Fast delivery, product probebly good, Price was good, construction OK, DP attach solidely to the back of the screen.

Cons: Did not work... Maybe it is important to plug it from DisplayPort To HDMI and not HDMI to DisplayPort ? And I'm sure it's not the cable caus I bought 2 by mistake and Both dont work.

Other Thoughts: Bought this BENQ monitor VA Panel (BL2410) witch didn't have HDMI port on it but a DisplayPort... Taugh I could plug it in the HDMI slot in the back of my computer with this cable but no. Maybe I'll try this instead http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815158264

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: -Using the display port on my GTX 680 to connect to my receiver, which then outputs a video signal to my projector.
-Both audio and video outputs from my GTX 680 without a catch. Works just like the HDMI output on the card, to my surprise.

Cons: -No sandwich included, but I figured.

Other Thoughts: -Why was I so scared of my GTX 680's display port output? I seriously thought that it needed a complicated adapter or something... I was wrong. This cable essentially turns it into another HDMI output.

1 out of 5 eggsVery loose connector

Pros: Worked when I plugged it in

Cons: The connector on DisplayPort side is loose, any vibrations at all to the cable and it's enough to kick the connection. I ways have to unplug it and replug it back in securely. I went out and replaced it with a RocketFish adapter from a local store and that had no issues. Should have returned it to Newegg when I had the chance.

5 out of 5 eggsIT WORKS

Pros: IT WORKS

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: MY SETUP

NVIDIA 2D Surround quad monitor (3+1)
3x acer 27" and 1x asus vg236h 23"

it's triple monitors and a fourth at center top using a single gtx 780 gpu. all monitors are running 1920 x 1080 but monitors 1 - 3 are set up as 5760 x 1080. i'm writing all this out because i couldn't find any info specific to wiring and ports being used for this particular setup. i hope someone else finds this useful when purchasing this cable and run out of conventional cables to use. this is my first venture into displayport technology.

monitors 1 and 2 using dvi ports on video card. monitor 3 using hdmi port on the video card. monitors 1 and 2 using dvi cables. monitor 3 using a dvi to hdmi cable.

monitor 4 is connected to displayport on video card. monitor 4 is using displayport to hdmi cable.

ripped the cable out the bag and tried it out as soon as it arrived. i'm both surprised and relieved the cable works flawleslly with my setup considering some reviews i've seen on here. good deal

5 out of 5 eggsgoodbye VGA

Pros: Audio and video with one cable

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Exactly what I needed to connect my Lenovo laptop to the various HD displays around our offices. Seamless and simple - no dongle or adapter.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Good

Pros: None

Cons: Bought this to connect my laptop Displayport to HD TV. Display is recognized, but no signal to TV. Laptop works fine with a friends DP-HDMI adapter and HDMI cable. Waste of time and money.

3 out of 5 eggsHard to Say

Pros: Seems like a solidly built cable

Cons: Bought to connect my new laptop to an HDTV. Getting no signal at the TV, though the laptop recognizes the TV. Need further troubleshooting to determine if the problem is with the cable or the laptop
