3 out of 5 eggsNot for 4k or 120hz

This review is from: Nippon Labs Model MINIDP-HDMI-15 15 ft. Mini DisplayPort to HDMI® 32 AWG 15ft Cable M-M 15 feet- OEM

Pros: Works fine for 1080p @ 60hz.

Cons: Doesn't support 4k @ 60hz or 1080p @ 120hz.

Other Thoughts: The cable works well, but only for 1080p @ 60hz. This will be fine for most people, but I was hoping to use this cable for 1080p @ 120hz and/or 4k @ 60hz. I'm guessing that the HDMI adapter built into the end of this cable is not up to par for 4k (HDMI 1.2 or 1.4?).

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

This review is from: Nippon Labs Model MINIDP-HDMI-15 15 ft. Mini DisplayPort to HDMI® 32 AWG 15ft Cable M-M 15 feet- OEM

Pros: Cable works perfect on my iMac. Make sure you change your audio output to your tv, otherwise the sound will continue to come out of your iMac's speakers. Other than that it works perfect. I've mirrored my desktop onto my hdtv and it works. Glad I ordered this instead of the pricey parts from Apple.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsCable Works Great!

This review is from: Nippon Labs Model MINIDP-HDMI-15 15 ft. Mini DisplayPort to HDMI® 32 AWG 15ft Cable M-M 15 feet- OEM

Pros: Cable does everything listed. For those who say this cable doesn't pass audio, it actually does. To enable audio passthrough, you might have to go (on a mac) to system preferences --> sound --> and choose the output device. No problems here!

Cons: None yet after a year of use!

1 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Nippon Labs Model MINIDP-HDMI-15 15 ft. Mini DisplayPort to HDMI® 32 AWG 15ft Cable M-M 15 feet- OEM

Pros: Ordered a Mini Display Port to HDMI cable for my iMac. The price was right & I received it in 3 days.

Cons: When I connected it & my iMac didn't recognize it I called Apple Tec Support to make sure that I hooked it up according to Apple's specs. (Of course there is only one way to connect it). The Tec Support walked me thru the process & determined that the new cable was not making contact in the ports. I had a bad cable!
