Does as advertised. No problems to date.
Pros: Using it on a laptop with a blown ethernet jack. Installation on Windows 7 was pretty simple. Windows update didn't work but I had wifi so I pulled down the driver from their website. I haven't had any problems with it since then. I can unplug and then plug it back in while maintaining ethernet port parameters. Sleep mode doesn't mess up ethernet jack.
Cons: Nothing of note. This just works.
Other Thoughts: Based on the ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet.
