5 out of 5 eggsGreat product!

Pros: Great panel, easy install. Ports come in little modular inserts of eight in three parts. Which makes life easy since you can install the bracket and then hand punch (as long as you know what you are doing and careful with it) eight at a time then mount it. The wire management bracket that comes with this is actually usable and not just fodder for the trash can. 14/24 ports work (not using other ten yet) and getting same gigabit speeds as before panel was installed. But since panels have nothing really to do with boosting speeds, was to be expected lol. Just nice getting a panel with no defects or something wrong with the pins or something.

Cons: Not a con for me, have been doing telecom/data wiring for eight plus years. This does not come with any of those cheapo punch down tools. So if you do not have your own punch down tool, plan on buying one for your self. Also does not come with rack mount screws.

Other Thoughts: On the punch down side has the pyramids so if you do not want to manually untwist the wire you can use those. Had no issues when punching everything down. All my wires stuck, nothing fell out. If I ever need another panel I will be purchasing this one again!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great For Me

Pros: Easy to mount and punch. I ordered 4 of these and all 78 ports that Im currently using work fine and punched with ease.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have 4 of these mounted on a 2 Post 42U StarTech Rack (also purchased from Newegg) and was very pleased with how well they looked and worked. Punching was a breeze and I would recommend them to anyone.

2 out of 5 eggsSigh

Pros: It's inexpensive

Cons: I would like to say this is a good buy but its not. The space between the punch down is square not pointed like other patch panels. This means you have to untwist the wire instead of just spreading it out with the point. It really slows down punching down several patch panels in a row. I also didn't like the fact that on all three of the patch panels port 1 seems to be not aligned up and you'll need to mess with it or your wires will pop out. This was the case on all 3 patch panels.

Other Thoughts: Even though this unit is inexpensive its not worth the price for 10 - 20 bucks more you'll get a much better product. I've been in the IT industry for 14 years and I give this product a thumbs down.

5 out of 5 eggsNothing better

Pros: Punch down is easy, cable manangement is easy, the punchdown clips hold great and dont give in to easy slack. Cool sleek black color and it comes with a few zipties! Always a plus.

Cons: The individual punchdown clips could have complete color coding, but there is a graph nearby for reference. If the colors are memorized, this isn't really an issue.

Other Thoughts: Nothing
