Pros: It's a bracket! It's heavy duty/well made. Was shipped fast.

Cons: Price. The switch unit should have had two holes in the back to mount on the wall so I wouldn't need expensive brackets for wall mounting.

Pros: Curse you Trendnet - a 24 port switch without rack mounts included?

If you purchase the low cost TEG-S16Dg or TEG-S24Dg and you intend to rack mount them - you need these since trendnet is being cheap here and not including the brackets in those two units.

Now, these are nice brackets. Not thin, nice paint and screws and fit their products perfectly. Looks good in the rack. Nice quality brackets considering they are made for a very light weight application. I mean they are not built like APC smart ups brackets but that is an entirely different level of quality and strength.

Cons: I still can't believe TEG-S24Dg did not come with rack brackets.... But considering the low cost for that unmanaged switch, the extra $ for these is still a good deal.

Other Thoughts: Yeah - no one that has a 24 port switch uses a rack mount... ARGH!!!!!

Pros: Oh gee, I can fit my switch in my RACK NOW!!!

Cons: TRENDnet how dare you not include these with your switch(es), they're just 25 cent pieces of pot metal bent to fit. I understand that some people might not need them, but I doubt it would cost that much to flop them in the box.....

Other Thoughts: Don't get me wrong, the quality of the part is good. Good paint and the screws fit with no issue. You might as well just get them, since I doubt you have any other rack kits that would fit their switch... I know I didn't... I have a box full of mounting kits and none of them lined up with out me busting out my drill... TRENDnet should include this I think... Not too many people are going to have a 24 port (or larger) switch just slopped on a desk somewhere, they'll most likely have it in a rack... Either way just buy 'em, you'll need 'em....

Pros: I took a risk because this looked like it would fit my D-Link DGS-1024D and it did! It's nice to see that TRENDnet did not see the need to make their brackets "special". For some reason, this rack mount kit was hard to find and ridiculously priced elsewhere but NewEgg comes through again.

Cons: None - exactly what I needed.

Pros: This fit right on to my Trendnet switch and mounted right in to my rack. Great fit

Cons: I have a blank panel spacer on each side of this switch so it holds it much tighter than doing it with just the ears. I would prefer a more secure fit but the trendnet switch is very small so I am not worried about it really.

Other Thoughts: definitely worth buying to get this off the top of my rack and actually IN my rack!! When I bought the switch two years ago newegg didn't have these. THANK YOU NEW EGG FOR LISTENING TO US AND GETTING THEM!!!!

Cons: Not a rack mount, it won't even come close

Other Thoughts: Trendnet mounted swtiches come with small mounting brackets anyway. I would have never purchased this if I had know.

Pros: They're rack mount ears. What can I say?

Cons: NewEgg doesn't carry them. I bought them on (a website named after a jungle that NewEgg won't let me type here) but would rather source them here.

Pros: Compatible with TRENDnet’s TEG-S16Dg and TEG-S24Dg - 16 and 24 port model gigabit switches.

Cons: NewEgg doesn't carry them!! Had to buy them elsewhere!

Other Thoughts: Newegg... Please carry these! There are a lot more people who would purchase these switches if they could buy these mounting ears with it.
