Other Thoughts: just buy a punch tool and cheapest jacks you will be done 300% faster then installing this. Did you have difficulties securing the cable in all the jacks you tried, or did you notice it was limited to only one or two of the jacks being used? Also, this jack is intended for use with CAT5 and CAT5e cabling specifically. If you are currently using CAT 6 cabling, this jack may not be suitable, as the thicker gauge of wire used in CAT 6 cables can lead to difficulties when punching down the wire.
