Question regarding Speaker plug
- Pros: This is my first time putting a system together, Found the instructions clear and understandable. However, my Antec Case has a small built in speaker and I have a plug that I cannot locate pins on the Mobo to plug this into. Not sure if newer boards still allow for Mobo Speaker?
- Cons: Other than plugging in the speaker none that I can think of.
- Other Thoughts: The post by people who purchased this an other products is extremely helpful. I made several purchasing decisions based upon people taking the time to post comments.
wow
- Pros: this motherboard is a nice one, it runs cool has a nice setup and is very very fast if you have the right chip in it i just put a core 2 duo in mine and overclocked it at 4.225Ghz
- Cons: none at this time
Too cheap to tivo
- Pros: Blindingly simple to install. The detail on the fold out instalI sheet is great for getting the front panel wiring in.(I hate those little plugs) built this for my family room as a DVR. hauppage HD tv card, 4gb corsair DDR2 800,intel 3.00 dual core ,500gb seagate HD,Nvidia 8600gt vid card ,gigabte titan box,500w PS. multi card reader. Vista ultimate.Works great, runs cool. run both my tv cable into it and internet.Great value for the money
- Cons: None really
- Other Thoughts: An Esata port would be nice , I think 1394 is past its prime. had a left over port from a previous gigabyte board( not a good experience) and use that.
