4 out of 5 eggsGood board

Pros: Runs really smooth with 2gb of kingston hyperx ram.
This thing is amazing for it's size.

The price is really great too, although I would have preferred the BOXD410PT model because of the passive cooling.

Played DVD movies fine with vlc.

Cons: It wouldn't recognize Win XP on CD. It recognized Vista right away on DVD. So after struggling so much to boot with XP CD, I created an iso image of the XP CD, and burned it onto a DVD, and then XP was recognized.

Only 128mb of video ram, but standalone pci video cards are hard to come by, only pci express. So I would have preferred pci express to pci slot.

BIOS is quite limited.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent board

Pros: This board is a great little workhorse. I put it together to replace an antiquated machine that ran in a professional office and now everybody wants one! It's small, cheap, energy efficient, and it gets the job done. Oh yeah, and it's genuine Intel, so you know it's good.

Cons: None so far, though GigE would have been nice (but that's nothing major)

Other Thoughts: Combined this with a small mini-ITX case for a nice small form-factor PC. It's great for what it is used for - mostly word processing, email, and internet. Will definitely use to build a second one again!

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome Board for the Price

Pros: Good Price.
Has all of the essentials.
Has system fan connection.
Quiet.
Low Power.

Cons: Cannot get to WOL from off state.
No gigabit

Other Thoughts: I wish I would have seen the Atom 330 board with the gigabit Ethernet, I would have paid the extra money to have that built in. Be sure to look at these before buying this one.
I replaced the chipset fan with the Scythe SY124010L (Mini Kaze), it was a cheap upgrade and the system is a little less noisy. It was pretty quiet to begin with. I would definitely buy this again or the Atom 330 version.

5 out of 5 eggsGood board and a good price

Pros: Cheap, rather powerful, works great, does what I need.

Cons: Nothing major

Other Thoughts: In regards to the RAM issue being discussed, the Atom processor's bus speed is only 533Mhz, so there is no point to increase the RAM speed past that. Intel took the option to increase the RAM speed out of the BIOS because of this.

Also, be sure to apply the latest BIOS update.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns Server 2008

Pros: Absolutely great board. Running Server 2008 32bit, with 2GB RAM and a 1TB HDD @ home for file sharing/administering LAN clients. Small footprint, fairly quiet and awesome price.

Cons: Built-in NIC is only 100. Not a problem since 1GB NIC's are so cheap nowadays. The northbridge fan makes a humming sound and is quite hot to the touch so I replaced it with SilenX iXtrema Pro Northbridge Copper Chipset Cooler.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommended board. Bought this board in combination with APEX-MI008 ITX case. Shipping was fast.
I'd probably buy the Intel D945GCLF2 next since it comes with a GB NIC and is dual-core atom processor.

4 out of 5 eggsnot too bad

Pros: Good little HTPC
low power
good for movies and shows on a TV somewhere

Cons: Stutters at HD playback (expected)
Fan tends to give out on the heatsink after a few months (for me at least)

Other Thoughts: Ran a LOT cooler after I replaced the default paste with arctic silver 5 :) figured Id throw some on while replacing that annoying fan that wont shut up. lol

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price

Pros: Fast cpu, tiny form factor, quiet operation and easy setup.

Cons: Only 2 Sata ports but oh well, cheap price makes up for the missing sata ports.

Other Thoughts: Using as a file server/back up. Took 20 minutes to setup with hard drive, memory, old cd drive, old case, new power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsNice CPU

Pros: It has sound, Video, SATA, and it takes is very little power, it is somewhat fast in office applications, it peforms well in DVD playback, Flash, and High Quality MP3. It runs Windows XP SP3 very well fast boot times.
It is multi threated (HT) which is nice to have.

Cons: well is you consider not having a PCI-E, and one Memory Slot a Con, this product was made that way.

Other Thoughts: Guy with the 533MHZ memory problem, check your timmings, the motherboard sets the memory timings on AUTO, Go into the BIOS and set the timing X-X-X

2 out of 5 eggsUpdate

Pros: This is an update of my previous review.

Cons: I just built a second system using this same board. This time, I went with G.Skill instead of Kingston. And guess what? The board STILL runs the memory at 533 mhz instead of 667 mhz. So it's not Kingston's fault... it's Intel's fault.

Intel designs good chips, but can't make motherboards worth cr@p. Get a Jetway or Zotac board instead if you want something that works as advertised.

Other Thoughts: I doubt that my roommate will notice the difference between DDR2-533 and DDR2-667, but is truth in advertising really so much to ask?
