5 out of 5 eggsImpatient

Pros: Got tired of waiting for a replacement board and ordered another which is now up and running fine. Typing this review on my new pc. The replacement just left CA.
Cheap board runs used 4core Q6600 cpu ($45), 4GB RAM I had spare, PCIE 2.0 video card, and still room for Xonar audio card.

Cons: It beeps twice on start and very loud. Has an Intel boot screen instead of details view. No usb 3.0 but so what.

Other Thoughts: Once the Win 7 OS was done with all the updates and I finished customizing, I get 7.1 across the board except for a 6.8 on the cheap OCZ SSD. And this is not even for Games.

4 out of 5 eggsOne more time

Pros: Ummm

Cons: DOA. Bench test your new board prior to install. This one lit the led and ran the fans but would not post. No beep, no video, no BIOS. I forgot to try replacing the battery even though I am sure these boards have been around for a while. Ships to CA so replacement will take a while if you are on the east coast.

Other Thoughts: Got a free UPS shipping label by clicking on the link in my email RMA verification. Thanks

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: I ordered two just in case.

Cons: DEAD - no video out.

Other Thoughts: Nothing like wasting four hours of time removing old, installing this one and troubleshooting.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Two DoA boards. Neither would POST. Tried two different CPUs, power supplies, and DDR2 RAM modules. No sign of damage to board so it is either a bad design or a bad production batch.

1 out of 5 eggsBe Careful

Pros: I already have one of these boards in a previous computer and it has run like a trooper non-stop for a few years.

Figured I would use it as a cheap replacement since I have had such good luck with the original one.

Cons: The new one I just got didn't work out of the box.

Would not recognize a SATA drive connected (HDD or Optical) and would beep an error code if a PCIe video card was installed.

All the other components (Processor, Memory, HDD, Optical, Video Card) work perfectly on the other motherboard.

1 out of 5 eggsNot good enough, quality issues

Pros: Cost and Intel name

Cons: Typical Realtek issues. Arrived with the Realtek Gigabit Embedded NIC being DOA. This is not the first time I have had problems with intel boards that use Realtek NIC chipset or sound chipsets. I wish Intel would scrap using Realtek, they are just a a sub standard NIC platform as compared to INTELs own NIC chipsets.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the price when you get sub standard hardware on the board.
