Intel makes your CPU. Why not have them make your motherboard, too? The BOXDG41MJ is an LGA775 board supporting Core 2 Duo, Pentium dual-core and Celeron D processors. You can add up to 8GB of DDR2 800 memory to support the operating system. The mini ITX form factor makes it a great choice for HTPCs.

The motherboard is designed to support the advanced features that today's power users are looking for. It has a 6 channel audio system and 3 analog audio ports that support Intel High Definition Audio. It also has 4xUSB and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The GMA X4500 GPU has both DVI and D-sub outputs.

File sizes are getting larger, especially for audio and video, so we need more secure ways to manage our data. There are 3xSATA ports, so you can hook up plenty of drives. Since you have plenty of available connectors you can use one drive for the OS and software and have extra drives for data.

Good for what it is

Pros: We ordered a dozen to build for a client, every board was in good condition and worked great.

Cons: The Audio port on the board is a tight connection as one of the onboard chips nearly impedes the connector.

Other Thoughts: The deciding factors for us were that it was an Intel board (easy for us to RMA) and it contained a PCI connector for the addition of a wireless card.
