3 out of 5 eggsCan't say I recommend this

Pros: This is a solid board from Intel, and they do a good job supporting it. It has a ton of features that I will never use.

Cons: I have to give this board three eggs because it took me several hours to get it working somewhat satisfactorily. Right off the bat I had a problem with the fans constantly running at 100%. Turns out if you don't put this board in an Intel chassis, the fan controller doesn't work. You can fix it by installing the latest firmware update and reconfiguring the fan parameters, but sometimes the fans get stuck on 100% until you reboot. There is also a problem with the Server 2008 R2 network driver that is included with Windows. It causes severe CPU spikes that make the mouse and keyboard laggy. The solution for that is to install the latest driver from Intel.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend looking for a different board unless your entire build is with Intel branded parts. It is possible to make it work, but I shouldn't have had to spend hours researching why fans are loud and the mouse lags. All of the information I needed to solve my problems was available on Intel's website, so kudos to them for that. Just as a heads up, you will have to buy the Dynatron K987 CPU cooler for a pedestal chassis. The board has bolted on retention plates and that is pretty much the only cooler compatible with them. Coolers designed for rackmount cases should work fine since they are a special design. Also, every fan MUST be PWM compatible for any form of throttling to work.
