Intel BOXDB75EN LGA 1155 Intel B75 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Put together a work station for my sister with this mobo, a Xeon E3-1225, Coolermaster EVO and 2x2 gigs of Corsair. Worked from the get go running W7 Pro. Has 4 memory slots so she can expand if needed. Has an LPT port so she can still use an old laser printer.

Cons: Not full ATX.

Other Thoughts: Blue LED is on and ALIVE!

Pros: Its easy to install

Cons: The MS_STATE light lit the moment I turned it on. DOA and Blue Death

Pros: Nice small simple design, it fit perfectly into an old old computer case I used for a Windows ME computer almost 18 years ago.

Cons: Blue Death light comes on the moment the P/S was active, only the CPU and case fans turned on, nothing else. There should have been some padding under the main board power connector and instructions that came with it should be very detailed to let a novice user know if the 24 pin is used, if the additional 12v pin is used as well. When I got a motherboard 10 years ago, the manual told you everything. The PDFs and even the dang Intel site doesnt even tell me what the MS_State light is or why it comes on. If I'm going to buy a motherboard, give me every detail about it.

VIDEO: On-board Video only, no PCI-e Card installed yet

P/S: CoolMax 650W Power Supply Model#: NW-650B

When I put it all together, (1st time power up) the ME_STATE LED came on blue for aprox 5-7 seconds then went out and standby green led stays lit.

Except the P/S fan from time to time, nothing(I mean nothing) turns on

I tested the 24 pins on the P/S as well as the 4pin 12v CPU adaptor and the voltages all read within .1 and .2 volts above or below the listed voltage.

The NewEgg and Power eXtream wattage calculator states that even a 400w P/S at 90% should run this current setup.

I have removed te Bios Battery to reset the bios and nothing changed. Most articles, I have found remotely close to this, state it can be anything from a bad P/S to a Bad Mobo, bad CPU or Bad Memory. Thats not a lot to go on.

With no help from Intel, I have no idea if this board is DOA or everything else
