5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Bang-to-Buck ratio

Comments: Got this mobo to replace a 2yrold MSI with a failing IDE controller and to support a much needed better CPU (running a Ath 1700+ currently), out of the box, not a single hitch in the swap. Got it wired up, reinstalled Win2k, threw on the basic drivers from the CD (except the onboard video after reading reviews on this site; NVidia's latest NForce drivers are excellent), not one problem after running 10 days now, even with 2HD/2CD and a Volcano 11+ on just a 300W PS. It seems like a lot of people have been burned with DOAs and video troubles on this model, however my experience was flawless. I cannot wait to see what this puppy will do with a 3000+ Barton.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Promise but not living up to it yet

Comments: Great board lots of features. Unfortunately I'm on my 4th one. They seem to run fine for a day or two then they simply stop working. I'm using a Sparkle 350 watt PS with two sticks of Corsair 512MB memory. AMB 2500+ Barton, Two CD/DVD drives and a single HD.
Newegg has been good about it but this is getting very frustrating.

3 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Okay...this board seems to run pretty well, the onboard sound is very good, installs easily, etc. Until you get to the onboard video. I was having a lot of trouble with games that ran DirectX. I would try running warcraft 3, and it would lock up. Tried installing drivers for 4 or 5 hours, all different kinds, and nothing helped. Tried DirectX 8.1 and 9, nothing helped. If you plan on running games with DirectX, and want to use the onboard video, this board is not the best choice.

Second, for some reason, although im running 512mb ram, its reading it as 480. Hmm...

5 out of 5 eggsThis rocks!

Comments: Got is mobo about 2 months ago, been running fine ever since. I did have problems with the computer shuting down as i was entering windows, but redid the BIOS and every thing is working just fine. I am building one of these for my friend, but i am using the pro II board instead, just for the extra options. I clocked it against my friends p4 2.8 GHz machine - an smoked it, and that is using a 2100+ processor! NForce chipset is nice. Installing it went great. I highly recomend it!

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Well, i have to say i am EXTREMELY pleased with how this board has worked out. Didn't have any troubles with any hardware as far as installing. The manual is quite comprehensive. On top of everything the on-board audio more than serves the average users needs, and well as gamers even. The biggest plus has to be the onboard video. While it does not compare to much on the market, it serves its purpose..and....dare i say it...plays Simcity 4 without a hitch! I definately would suggest this card to those out there, even if leadtech is fairly new to motherboards.

5 out of 5 eggs18G-PRO ROCKS!!!

Comments: Just purchased this board about a week ago..one word ((FLAWLESS!)). I'm running 2500+ @ (166x12), Crucial PC 2700 & Enermax 350W Pwrsupply. No problems for 7days now. I purchased everything mentioned above on this site for less the $350!! You can't beat it for a fast, flawless stable computer all on WIN XPpro! Cheers to NewEGG!!

2 out of 5 eggsGreat board if it worked...

Comments: I wasted shipping twice RMA'ing this board. It has good features for the price but it hasn't worked out for me.

First board weould not run long enough to do anything. Second board had no video, even with a card in the AGP slot.

I will be very wary of buying anything from leadtech ever again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value & Performance - Easy Build

Comments: I bought this MB to build a new PC for my parents. Everything went smooth as silk using XP-Pro. (From some of what I have read, XP is your best bet with this board.) This is my 6th or 7th build with various mfgs boards and was easily the most trouble-free. This was a definite 5 star for me! Newegg, of course shipped all the components with their usual excellent service.

4 out of 5 eggsNeed some extra work around

Comments: The board I ordered was dead on arrival, and it took 3 weeks for sending back and got the replacement board. It works good, but with Windows 2000, the default IDE channel setting is PIO, which is a lot worse than DMA, and I can notice the degraded performance of my cd rom. but after i change it to DMA, it works great. Another thing is the TV cable is not included, just like other motherboard with tv out. So I need to shop for the cable. I have not play any game yet, but this board is a good value overall.
