2 out of 5 eggsChanging my review

Pros: Read previous review

Cons: After about a month and a half, the disk drive controller (cant remember if it's northbridge or southbridge) just dies. Cant detect HDD or DVD drive. Tried different PSU, different SATA cables, and determined it was the motherboard. Unless, of course, they both died at the EXACT same time.

Other Thoughts: Meh...waste of money. Maybe I just got a bad product, but I would avoid it.

5 out of 5 eggsEpox easy set up

Pros: What the heck 69.00 for a 775 socket MB that runs core 2 duo.
Don't let epox fool you, it's not a particulary popular motherboard but they make great products. I opened the box and had a running computer in 2 hours. It was a very easy setup using a E-660 conroe and the finished computer is fast.
My past experience with epox products has been great
fast and well built built boards. They just need to advertise more. Find a board has good reviews and try one.

Cons: Email tech support but seldom needed. No fancy cables or lights

Other Thoughts: Excellent product easy build..

5 out of 5 eggsunofficially supports SLI AND crossfire

Pros: although I do not own this board (yet) everyone should know that this board is supposed to UNOFFICIALLY support both SLI and Crossfire. that's why you won't find it in the description. check these links:

Cons: dont know as I dont own this board yet.

4 out of 5 eggsNot exactly what I was looking for...

Pros: Dual core motherboard, fast, stable, runs nice and cool, easy to install. Epox hasn't let me down.

Cons: This is not an SLI capable motherboard, it is a GLI capable motherboard, where you can display 2 video cards using 2 monitors. I should have done more homework before buying this.

Other Thoughts: Just bought a second video card, looks like I am also buying an SLI motherboard to use it.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I was looking for

Pros: SLI capable dual core board without built in video (oh how I hate that) for under a benjamin. Even checked out the onboard audio before installing my sound card, and I must say it sounded pretty nice. I had been an ASUS man for years but the last 2 boards I've bought were Epox and they have been rock solid.

Cons: Went on sale shortly after I bought it lol

Other Thoughts: Only have one 7900 GS card installed for now so I don't know how the SLI performance is. Hope to grab another when the DX 10 cards drive the rest of the prices down. Newegg shipped this to me in 2 days along with the rest of my rig. Thank you Newegg for being the best.

5 out of 5 eggsnot micro ATX

Pros: i'm searching for a micro ATX board that has no onboard video, no fans, bugt does have high def audio for an HTPC. i got my hopes up when i saw this but it's just miscategorized.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: i really wish someone would come out with a microATX P965 or nforce 5XX board for HTPC builders. foxconn came close with the NF4K8MC-EKRS, but they blew it by using active cooling.
