Comments: Not a bad board but WinXP was randomly locking up on me after I installed it. Turns out this was a conflict with my Netgear LAN card, and it worked fine when I removed that. Lots of great features otherwise.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board~

Comments: This board replaced a tired old IWill XP333 and installed out of the box like a champ. Once I set the FSB to 166 on a 2600+ 333FSB it ran fast, fast, fast. The clips for the HSF are a tad cluttered so be careful not to buy too large a HSF. I may just be a hassle to install it. I had a boxed HSF so it wasn't too bad. I plan on buying one more of these in the near future for another person as I am very impressed with it.

Comments: This was my first build and everything went very well. The only problem I had was installing the heat sink.(Thermaltake Silent boost) I had a hell of a time getting the clip hooked on the socket with that row of capacitors lined up beside it. Perhaps a smaller H.S.F. would have made it easier. The board has been running fast and super stable for a week now. I'm very pleased with my purchase and Newegg!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Board

Comments: I bought mine last March from Newegg. Simply one of the most stable boards that are made, and it is still running stable. I put two 512mb sticks of the OCZ (pc 3500) DDR 400. Very fast stable and bench marks very high. Nice bells and whistles that come with this board for the price. I would highly recomend this board even for a newbie, you won't go wrong. This Epox board is also rated the highest performer of all brands of KT600 by Toms Hardware Guide.

Comments: Nice board. Has what you need. Inexpensive.

If doing WindowsXP install on SATA harddrive, grab the latest drivers from
viaarena to avoid BSOD.

Comments: Fast and stable. Good overclocking options. Cheap (for a branded board). Got my XP Mobile 2600 running at 2200 (400X11) at 1.65V. Be careful where you stick your memory though. Only slots 1 and 2 support DDR400. Putting a DDR400 in slot 3 causes system stability issues (documented in the manual) I also had to enable the SATA raid contoller (even though I don't have SATA drives) or XP would have problems detecting the ATA IDE controllers.
