5 out of 5 eggsWorks just fine

Pros: Works fine out of the box - just built two boxes with this motherboard - both worked without any problems. Incidentally, I used to build Asus all the time - probably built 10 of them - now have built probably 15 Abits in the last 4-5 years. Abit gives less problems for me.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggsNeeded some work

Pros: Great Board, easy install, has everything i was looking for.

Cons: None really, just be sure to get all the updated drivers online. The ones on the supplied disk are outdated.

Other Thoughts: Check to make sure the easy cmos switch is switched off or the computer won't turn on.

1 out of 5 eggsfollow-up

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Faulty board - reducing from 2 to 1 stars. The time I spent with this board and the whole RMA process was not worth the lower sticker price. I builtt an Abit system in the early P4 years and it was great - Abit used to mean quality. Based on my experience with this board and the other reviews here things have gone down hill with the Abit company quality control and/or engineering expertise - I won't buy Abit again.

Other Thoughts: Just wanted to post a follow-up to my previous review. I replaced this motherboard with an Asus P5Q-E, and everything works. This is the first time I've had to RMA a motherboard (or anything) - in over 7 builds. Maybe I've just been lucky to date and my luck ran out, but I'm staying away from Abit from now on.

2 out of 5 eggsNOT WORTH THE MONEY

Pros: THIS BOARD O.C. FANTASTIC BUT A VERY CHEAP BOARD IN PARTS LOW QUALITY

Cons: I DON'T THINK ABIT DID A VERY GOOD JOB ON THIS BOARD THE P35 WORKS BUT THE SATA PORTS JUST BROKE OFF AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS FOR NO REASON JUST CHEAP

Other Thoughts: WITH THE NEW P45 COMING OUT AND NEW BIOS GO THEREE NOT THIS BOARD

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Does exactly as it's supposed to, works great, no problems so far

Cons: It's orange, and it doesn't make you breakfast

Other Thoughts: Great mobo for the price, if you don't want SLI, this is definitely the board to get

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Good overclocking, 45nm support, 4 dimm slots, price.

Cons: Had some problems booting from cd.

Other Thoughts: I had a lot of trouble getting the thing to boot from my XP Pro disc. I could only get it to boot from the eide cd drive if I disconnected my eide hard drive, regardless of how I set the boot settings in the BIOS. Eventually I chose to 'Reset BIOS to fail-safe settings' or something like that in the BIOS and that let me boot from the cd. After that I went back to normal BIOS settings and cranked my E2200 up to 3.0GHz with no fuss, just turned up the FSB frequency and turned down the RAM divider accordingly and it ran beautifully. I'll see how far I can turn up the FSB then figure out what divider works for the RAM tonight.

2 out of 5 eggscompatibility issues

Pros: P35 northbridge, low cost, 1333 FSB, official 1066 mem support.

Cons: Not compatible with 8600GTX - once drivers for the card are loaded into vista BSOD and have to reinstall vista. Rolling back driver in safemode does not work. Tried latest NVIDIA drivers as well as drivers shipped with card. Alos flashed to latest bios (v11) without success. Must boot into DOS to flash BIOS (ASUS can do it from inside windows, why can't Abit?). I've never had such a hard time getting a new system up and running.

Other Thoughts: V11 drivers indicates abit "Fixed the 7600GT Graphics card compatibility problem." - so they know there are problems. Well, they didn't fix the 8600GTX compatibility problem.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent mobo

Pros: Easy to install 45nm (e7200) without bios update. Enough BIOS adjustments for the average user and power users are not forgotten.

Cons: None, did what it says it can do.

Other Thoughts: Needed to make some minor adjustments for optimal usage of my RAM (G-Skill 1066) but it worked without those adjustments.

5 out of 5 eggsWork perfect

Pros: Cheap after rebate , external CMOS clearing, 10 USB port, Easy to OC ,one legacy IDE-port for old HD or DVD ROM.

Cons: single PCI-e x16 , No SLI-Crossfire, only one sata cable included.

Other Thoughts: Match up will E8400, OZC 1gbx2 800 reaper very well . success at first boot. Did not try OC yet . Nothing easily fall off like other opinion .
This product come out after ABIT stop make IP35-E . This is a low budget board .
BOTTOM LINE . This product have what most people need - good OC , onboard 7.1 , 8 gb memory support, a lot of USB and SATA. low price after rebate . Most of the board work well ,some units are bad - just like everything in life , nothing is perfect .But you should not be worried if you buy it from newegg , great customer service.
