5 out of 5 eggsI like it...

Pros: Good value for the money! Quality construction, it is tough. stays relatively cool, has a lot of features available through the bios.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: be carefull about the SLI jumpers, this board has about 70 of the little things and if you lose one it will not work right.

5 out of 5 eggsOne bad, one good

Pros: I have dropped motherboard with the processor install from the table, and it worked fine after that. Says Ultra Durable - I beleive it now.

Cons: First board I have got was DOA. Everything worked but no picture, even after swapping all different parts. Didn't beep either.

Other Thoughts: Overclocked Q6600 from 2.4Ghz to 2.8 , stopped only because I have stock cooler, board can go higher without problems.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap, Cheap - BUY THIS

Pros: Booted up right out of box. Cheap, Cheap. Good overclocking features (see below for my OC). Cannot go wrong with Gigabyte - they've been around forever.

Cons: Gigabyte Overclock features in BIOS are always hidden - must tap Ctrl-F1 to access them. Also, documentation for overclocking is awful - must know before going down that road. Luckily, I had some experience and PATIENCE.

Other Thoughts: Use this mobo for a build for my girlfriend. OVERKILL!! Paired with E2160 (cheap, cheap - 1.8 ghz), Arctic Freezer 7 pro, 2 gig RAM, and geforce 7200 gs. Overclocked cpu to 2.8 ghz - STABLE. [In BIOS, set ratio to "LINKED", and then just kept kicking the FSB up until that number, times multiplier, reached what I was aiming for. No bridge fans = Ultra quiet. Insane speed for basic office functions. Can turn a wimpy cpu into a gamer.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat product

Pros: Excellent mobo, with great features. Booted up fine, design is great and very well thought out board. Sata and ide ports well out of the way leaving plenty of room for sli. Cheeeap way to get into sli, even if it's only 8x+8x in sli mode. Don't let that scare you into buying a more expensive 750 just for 16x+16x, the performance increase is minimal
(5%)

Cons: North bridge a bit loose, then again most are. Mobo audio pins are in the wierdest spot, right behind i/o ports and under the cpu. Long stretch for case audio, would've prefered it being on the bottom by usb's but i'm nit-picky bout wires i guess.

Other Thoughts: All in all great board, cheap, sli, features very easy overclocking and does handle allot, as long as you keep your bridges cool. Would purchase again!

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect mainstream SLI board

Pros: It's hard to find a solid Intel-based/SLI board that doesn't have fans for the chipset. This board does exactly that. Well made with solid capacitors, very convenient form-factor and room for growth with SLI, hardware RAID support and plenty of slots.

Cons: I know most people aren't using floppies anymore, but the position of the floppy connector is absolutely awful. This board really ought to have a 1394/Firewire port too.

Other Thoughts: I looked at the Intel X38/X48 boards, n680i and n780i boards and found them to be WAY overkill for my needs. Also, DDR3 memory is terribly expensive at the time of this writing. You really can't beat the performance/cost ratio of this board.

2 out of 5 eggsOBSOLETE

Pros: Nice build quality, good layout, good performance with OLD CPUs (see cons)

Cons: Here's a direct quote from the manufacturer: "sorry ,board was old model wich was released befor new 45nmE8400 chipset not officailly support this processor some other manufacture make bios remark processor performance to make it work it may cause major issue in the future that Gigab*te will not do" That's helpful, thanks.

Other Thoughts: Despite claiming compatibility with 1333FSB Core 2 Duos I come to find out this board is only compatible with first generation chips and is now obsolete

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Quality

Pros: So far, everything seems to be performing well. Rock solid performance with quality manufacturing.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this board to anyone looking into building a gaming machine and not wanting to break the bank.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: 2xPCIx16 slots are great, the memory upgradeability is nice as well. Plus when I decide to go with a quad-core this baby will handle that too.

Cons: None yet!

Other Thoughts: Running this mobo with: XP Pro 64-bit, 4GB Crucial Ballistix 800, 250GB Seagate, EVGA 8600GT 512MB DDR3, Intel E6750.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Motherboard

Pros: Arrived a day earlier then scheduled. It doesn't lack anything and works smoothly. It also looks cool. :P

Cons: One of the back USB ports was dead on arrival but I didn't think it's worth replacing because of it.

Other Thoughts: It's got everything I could possibly want and more. It'd be nice if it had another PCI slot but 2 should be enough.
