4 out of 5 eggsSLI

Pros: SLI capable Intel motherboard. Runs as stated. Haven't tried ocing yet, but I hear this chipset isn't very adept at it.

Cons: Northbridge is a volcano. I touched it and gave myself a pretty good burn. Concerned with the amount of heat it's putting out.

1 out of 5 eggsGigabyte Disappoints Me

Pros: Gigabyte Usually puts out a good product. The 8 channel sound is great. The board works fantastic. The bios is top notch. Attached a SATA DVD/CD drive to computer. Board allows XP to boot from SATA DVD/CD drive without loading drivers.

Cons: Had to send back 3 boards until I received a good one. Fourth board worked. First board was dead. Second board bios chip was bad. Third board did not have all SATA connector installed on the board.Gigabyte goofed on inspection.

Other Thoughts: This was really the first Gigabyte motherboard that I had so much trouble with. I will give Gigabyte another shot in the future. Gigabyte better get it right the next time.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent board

Pros: Lots of features that I need. This board is very fast. Great OC'ing options. Great price for a fast Dual Core system.

Cons: Wish it could handle the newer Core Duo and up.

Other Thoughts: PD 805 at 3.34 with no problems, could run faster in my opinion.

1 out of 5 eggsUseless SLI an No Support

Pros: The unit has Raid 5 which I was looking for. The board seems fairly stable as a standard motherboard.

Cons: I have had trouble from the start with the systems SLI and my 2 XFX 7600GT cards. I purchased a larger (550) PSU thinking that was the trouble. I have finally started working with Giga-byte's "Tech Support". It took the "email only" support 3 days to even open the email. After that I have not had a single bit of "support", just questions. And they come 1 day at a time.

Other Thoughts: I have used Giga-byte before and advised others to do so, I will never do so again after working with their "Tech Support"
